Excellent video. It gives us immense pleasure and privilege to know about such a great guitarist of Hindi cinema. I did not know he was brother of maestro composer, Pyarelal Sharma. My salute and soulful tribute to Gorakh Sharmaji. He is one of the greatest sources of inspiration for the guitar players. His all fabulous string tunes right from the film, Chaudavi ka Chand to the theme song, Ek Hasina thi of Karz and till the end of 90s era, Ashique are immortal and captivating.

I had fortune to meet him and talk to Gorakh bhai at Bangalore during a live music show orchestrated by Pyarelal ji himself with 52 musicians. Very simple and humble person. I asked him to request Pyarelal ji to bring back the same Golden era music magic to Bollywood films . It was indeed shocking news to listen about his sudden death , great loss to musicians fraternity and music lovers.
