I did too honestly. I think it was Ben Fergusons first run where he ended up on a cliff with a huge drop underneath and I felt extreme secondhand nervousness

Yea Ben had some scary ones but the women had some too. I was nervous as hell most of the comp haha. These riders are nuts!

Unreal footage! Just picking his way over to the “business” part of that was making me lean back and forth to avoid trees. So heavy and big props to T.Rice

bought for my son (10 yo) for Christmas. He has never had a snowboard before. Good quality. I usually have to strap the boots in for him. Otherwise good quality & works well on our sledding hills.

No it doesn't. Gopro's make lines look much less steep than they are.

We recommend keeping your camera out of the cold until you're ready to use it. Keep it in your pockets or backpack until it's time to shoot. This will drastically improve run times in combination with our new Enduro Battery. Hope this helps 👍

I think he rides the Lib Tech Golden Orca which is a design he made by modifying the tail of the Orca so he could ride and land switch in the backcountry. He made it for events like this. He has a really good video explaining its design for Lib. He made the perfect board for mortals, the Orca, then tweaked it for the God's and himself.,Golden Orca.

It is even scarier than it looks. Are you kidding? Just look at the angle of the trees in the slope and the height of the drops

As someone who has wrapped their wrist around a tree while snowboarding, this was borderline traumatic... but I still gave it a thumbs up.

This is his epic second run of the final, not his winning run. He got 87 on this run, while the first run was the winning run with the massive drop, he got 90 on that first run. I would like to see the complete footage of this run posted. The edits are disorienting and they take away from the whole run. The story of this competition is seeing the athletes route find to their chosen lines. The video editors think the route finding is boring. They are wrong. All of the athletes and announcers are talking about the difficulty of finding the lines in a complex face. Show all of it so we can see the challenges of route finding. It builds anticipation for the steeper sections of the run.

If he had a single ioda of fear while doing that he would have fucked himself up. Props

Pretty sure his highest scoring run is also the run he lost his GoPro. Maybe in the summer we'll see that footage

T rice is such a legend, but the camera angle of this video is strange and looks dizzle.

That’s because it’s incredibly steep pitch combined with ultra wide lens and likely their hyper smooth EIS at work. I find it very pleasant to watch actually
