if you take 4k video on a mavic pro and want to use the dji app to edit will the lexar work for that? you mentioned it wouldn't' play it in the photos app, but will opening it in the dji app work?

After watching this video, it’s been quite some time now and these are no longer available. But do you have a current recommendation for a micro SD card reader that is for the lightening port on an iPad Air? Hoping to find one that is physically similar to the two you reviewed in this video. Thx

Thanks for this informative video. Seems the GoPro quick key for lightning connection has been discontinued. Are there any newer options that work well? I know Apple has a SD card reader but pretty large dongle. Wish we could just plug in GoPro directly into lightning connection

I have a GoPro Quik Key micro usb and i use it with a adaptor usb C and it works,i bought an adaptor for lightning also and it doesn't work, nothing shows up on the phone and the little blue light from the reader doesn't turn on,the adaptor works as i tried it with a charger,any indea?

You can also use the iPhone lightning card reader that Apple sells. You can plug your memory card right into it. I almost prefer it over the others as the content goes directly to the camera roll and you don’t have to transfer it via third-party apps. I will be making a video demonstrating it in the coming weeks

Just bought a GoPro quik key lightning for iPhone and it’s not working with iPhone XR

Hi great video when you transfer to your iPad dose it use up your space I am in two minds what to get now this or western digital wireless pro. I am getting a GoPro very soon

Just note that if your iDevice is an older model, transferring may be slower and if you top that off with a basic sd card then video transfers will be terribly slow. Help yourself and use a high speed sd card. We have the Lexar but it's kinda picky on various sd card brands. Sandisk will work but some won't and we can't figure out why. My only possible guess was the way the host device formatted the card. Still not sure though. Now I am glad the GoPro version works for other non GoPro branded videos, may look into buying one now. Oh and confirmed 1080p @60fps works with the Lexar. We use the SJ6 Legend camera.

Does the GoPro version transfer media's like wav mp3 for those of us doing separate recording for example on the h1zoom

My GoPro quick key doesn’t even work. I’v had it for like two months already and whenever I plug it in it just says “it’s not compatible with the device” and I am literally using it on the iPhone X! But the weird thing is, sometimes it does show up but it takes hours to load footage. When I try to download it it takes even more time which sucks. I really wouldn’t buy one if you’re reading this. I’m not here to hate on the video or anything but I’m just saying, wait until GoPro makes another version of quick key because the newest one doesn’t work as much, sometimes it doesn’t appear too, it’s not efficient. Also, one more thing, you could just download the videos wirelessly which is better than buying another accessory

Cool but transfering 128gb on 64 is not possible so i would like a function for a cloud or so

The Quik Key with Lightning connector isn't available anymore according to GoPro support. Bit of a shame it would have been quite handy.

Yes it is I use it all the time. I just picked up the USB-C version for the new iPad Pro that now has a USB-c connector. Makes me wonder if they will be putting that on their iPhones next year as well?

@@AirPhotography I did try to get hold of one here in the UK as I have three iPads and an iPhone X. After trying Amazon UK who don't stock the lightning version anymore but do sell the USB C and microUSB versions, I searched further afield. Nowhere in the UK had stock and the only one listed on eBay was in Germany. I asked in the GoPro support group on GoPro's website and received this reply. The Quik Key for iOS is no longer sold through the GoPro webstore. You may check with online sellers such as Amazon, or local retailers for such. Thanks, Marius So as the Quik Key only works with the GoPro App and is as easy to get hold of here in the UK as unicorn poo ;-), I have opted for the Lexar. Although it won't be as streamlined for using with the GoPro App, I will be able to use it for other things as well such as my DJI Mavic footage.

Not sure, but there seemed to be a few people complaining about errors. I wonder if GoPro were having problems with the licensing of lightning connectors from Apple.

Hi,I have recently bought a GoPro 6 and I’m going on a bike trip from England to Monte Carlo going through a number of European countries and don’t no what sort of memory card to buy either the 128 or 256.Do I need to buy a GoPro memory card reader or would a cheaper card reader do as I’ve seen a lot cheaper ones on eBay at a fraction of the price.

Will download directly to the GoPro app, which will then upload to the cloud. However, I haven’t used mine in a long time, so I’m not even sure if they fully functioning correctly still but I assume they should

I got zero mobile manager when I plugged it in. I can’t use the App Store because they want credit card info. what now?

You need the Mobile Manager for it to work. You should be able to set up an account without a credit card many people do.

Does it work if you film in 1080p at 60fps
