Just got my Hero 10 blk and Akaso Brave 7. I'm a newbie and having 2 cameras was an outcome of unforeseeable circumstances. (It's a long, funny story) My point being, great channel to come across at the best time. Sincerely thankful for your easy to understand video. My favorite accessory, believe it or not, was my 60' Amazon Basics tripod. Well made, good gears and adjustable with 2 levels and lightweight but sturdy for only $30 or so. Most if all it brings it all together and makes it feel more professional. I gotta get that cute light. Then it'll really look like a studio. At least a studio with mini cameras and lights. Haha. Bottom line, is I'm happy. And thanks to you, not feeling so overwhelmed. Keep up the great work brother. 🙏🏼

My favourite is: Friction arm. Combine this with a nano clamp and you can mount your GoPro to any place! Friction arms come with many lenghts. Shorter ones are great for extreme sports (bike body mounts etc.) and longer ones in the industrial environments if you need a little bit of extra reach. With the friction arm you can adjust the filming angle much better.

Other honourable mentions:- 1) Media mod. Its way better than adding the dongle if you need to attach an extrna mic. 2) Domes like GDome or the Telesin dome. Not for eberyone but certainly has its place. 3) Floaty. Not only does it save your GoPro from dropping to the ocean floor if you let go of it, it is also bright orange making it easier to see in teh water. 4) Battery grips. Great for your GoPro if you are doing vlogs and need power all day, or if you are doing long timelapses with it.

If you're IRL live streaming with it then the media mod is really a must have. HDMI out, USB-C and external mic 3.5mm jack, plus two shoe mounts. This also allows you to remove the battery and power it via an external power bank. May not sound like much, but that weight reduction is really noticeable.

I want to tie in my microphone from my Sena speaker/ Microphone on my motorcycle helmet to the GoPro. Don't know exactly What I need or how to tie in so it all works smoothly Do I need a mic adapter...

New subscriber here. I have the Go Pro Hero 7 Black that I have had for several years. It has and continues to serve me well. Does really great action shots and is so portable and is as durable as an M1 Abrams tank. I use it for farming, logging, cutting firewood,etc. It lives in a dirty environment and has never given me a moments worth of grief. No regrets buying this Go Pro. 4 stars in my book!

My run and gun is the Telesin 3 pack of batteries, GoPro 10 with media mod , Skyreat anamorphic and the Deity D4 duo mic. I also use the same memory cards named with no issues.

I ordered my very first Go Pro Hero 10 Creator Edition, beginner here and so I’m watching gazillion of videos on how to start vlogging and start documenting my outdoor adventures. I would love to find a mentor to start this journey.😌

I really like the mini joby gorillapod designed for gopros. It’s super useful as a tripod but can also be mounted in so many places for extra b roll shots.

I will say those mini Joby gorilla pods are good. But for me (maybe it’s different for you) after awhile the little leg beads break and don’t hold as well as it used to

@@DannyBlack I haven’t experienced that, but I’ve only had one for a couple weeks, I’ll have to be weary of that and hopefully it doesn’t break on me! Maybe I’ll look at that ulanzi mini tripod that’s similar to the GoPro shorty.

I'm going on vacation soon and was wishing to film some stuff though I have a great new cellphone I don't have attachments to be hands free and thought a GoPro would be a good idea but need accessories so either buy a GoPro hero 10 and cool snap accessories and wind resistance. So Thank you!!!

I would also recommend a waterproof housing it can save you in a pinch if you drop it

Another banger. In future, I recommend writing out the name of each product with the links in your description, as it makes it much easier post-video for we viewers to go through and buy stuff we definitely don't need. ;)

Thanks for this great informative video. We are looking into getting more accessories for our GoPro10. Trying to find a macro lens and light - will likely get the light accessory you mentioned. We are a new channel with some growth but trying to budget so we don’t take from other investments. Again thank you for the educational video.

This was published a year ago but I was gifted a Hero 10 couple of months back & have attentively followed the advice on here, thank you. My problem is that the GoPro Hero 10 in any of the countless formats & settings does not perform well enough to be seriously used for any kind of reasonable videography. I have tried my best, following the advice on here, but the thing just under-performs compared to any of my other cameras, which are not high level - 2 Nikon DSLRs, Nikon A1000 compact & a fairly high spec camcorder from Panasonic, also a Digitech webcam does a better job of most close up videos. I am at a loss why these things are so popular, basically all it has going for it is small size & length of recording. If you want a TikTok 15 second flash maybe this works for you but any serious attempt to use it for KZread content is out. Open to advice on this, I've given it a good go but it's basically just a toy.

I have always used the same SD card on my Hero 9 and have never had any problems freezing, loosing footage or overheating

Ya the snap mount is great. I use it a lot when doing more on the go stuff. I have the phone mount coming in the mail too which will be awesome to see how it works

There are some HUGE caveats with the max lens mod. It disables a significant amount of the functionality of the GoPro. It cuts your resolution in half, you can't use the higher framerates, can't save presets, can't loop record, etc. It's also more than a little frustrating that the lens itself is just that, a lens. All of the fancy features are already built into the camera, they just don't work without the lens. It's like a game that ships with DLC on the disc that you still have to pay to use.

There is bettet than the foam cover for wind reduction. Rycote windjammer you can stick over microphones and still easy access to battery

What is best? There are so many different types of ND filters that fit the GoPro Hero 10. My question is which one is the best, it's not a question of the price but from which company is the best. There are from Sandmarc, variable ND filters. Tiffen has 3 ND filters plus 1 Polarid filter. Polar pro Shutter Collection, Neewer 4 pack filter ND and Telesin has Circular Polarizer Filter. Maybe there are some other filters that are better? Grateful for answers.

If I add a light to my GoPro door will it throw off the mechanical image stabilization of the Hohem Isteady Pro 4? Will the gimbal work with a windslayer attached?

Excellent video, thank you so much. An alternative to the wind slayer are Micro Windjammers from Rycote. These are incredible cheap and from and KZreadr who tested them in extremely windy conditions they where very effective.

Nice list. I've been looking for a battery door with cold shoe but also no opening for charging. Basically a waterproof door with cold shoe. Anyone ever find anything like this?

I saw one that has a little clip that attaches the cord and there's no opening, so....go pro sells it themselves I think. Check it out on their website.

New GoPro user here. I'm planning to take my Hero 10 bobsledding in a few weeks. Would you go with or without the max lens mod? Not sure if it would be better to have the horizon leveling or see the rotation of the bobsled in the track?

i dont have a gopro yet but waiting for the four new gopro cameras that should come in september. my favorite accessories that i need to buy is ofc 2 duro batteries with double charger and the nova mic sounds nice but dont know if i need external mic if mic will be great in gopro 11. and The Handle is a must + the ND16 filter. i want my colors to pop alittle more but again, i dont know if gopro 11 will be so good that no ND filter is nessesary. only time will tell.

What’s my favorite accessory on your list? Definitely not number 1. Not only is it a bunch of mediocre (which doesn’t mean bad, mind you, just average) accessories that have been around like forever, it’s overpriced at $70+ when you can find other sellers selling similar bundles for under 50 bucks. Number 2 and 3 are definitely interesting and will have me hitting up your links for them, but number 1 has to be an FPV drone. I’ve yet to try it but I just love the shots other creators have come up with on drones more than any other shot.

This is an awesome list. I’m pretty new to the GoPro world. I started with a Hero9 and now added a Hero10 to my setup. I basically plan to be the Martin Scorsese of RC car movies! My subject is relatively small, fast, shot outside, and and shot while my hands and eyes are busy driving. Anything that helps with sound, lighting, and rigging is useful to me. Thanks! Are there any closeup filters that bring the focus distance down to say around 3"?

First time entry into GoPros camera with Hero10, is the HSU accessories good quality? Some reviewers says the third party accessories (obviously cheaper than GoPos are not high quality), but I am not sure these are just mechanical parts, not why they wouldn’t work as good and reliable.

Yes, this GoPro accessory kit could work for both the GoPro Hero10 and GoPro Hero9.

I use the swivel clip all the time. Prefer it over a selfie stick

hi Geek in the Garden. it actually cant fit with the media mod unfortunately. it gets so close but off by like 1 or 2 mm ... maybe using some type of attachment could work but i havent tested it out. (some one is borrowing my gimbal at the moment)

But the wind sponge n quick twist snap are my fave on ur list The magnetic fastener looks good but also looks like it will create a lot of wind noise while riding sport bikes.
