Had a wonderful time at Roaring Camp today. A BIG THANK YOU TOO THE ENGINEER AND FIREMAN FOR INVITING ME IN THE CAB FOR A CAB RIDE!! THEY ALSO LET ME PUT THE GOPRO OUT THE WINDOW TO GET A POV SHOT. The event was so fun hope to see them again! More Pov steam locomotive videos will come out soon! Hope you enjoy the video!

The Dixiana hasn't changed much at all from 1971-1975 when I was one of the firemen on the crew. The boiler had to be replaced, so the backhead isn't studded with rivets now. The only other difference I see is that all the leaf litter on the tender tanks. It would never have been allowed. We kept it swept off on orders from Norman Clark. The year after I left for other careers, the Spring Canyon spiral trestles burned and were replaced by the switchbacks. It's nice to see the old machine still doing its job.
