GoPro Inside Car Tire During Full Burnout - (Boom)

Ойын-сауық

I mount a GoPro inside of a car tire and do a full Burnout until the tire blows.
this was a very interesting experiment, I have never roasted tires until they break apart and explode before, you can not only hear the tire cooking while watching the burn out from outside the car you can also hear the cooking and crackling inside of the tire.
you can also see how hot the interior of the tire guts during a burnout, as well as all of the smoke and steam produced inside of the tire a very unique perspective I have never seen before.

    why were the brake rotors glowing?

  • @dave_xc

    @dave_xc

    3 жыл бұрын

    Because when you brake the brake pump sends most of the power at the front wheels and a bit goes to the rear brakes, so the friction of the brake pads rubbing against the disc make it glowing red

    imagine cars usually have a 65% front and 35% brake distribution so to keep the car from rolling the brakes are held, but that also means that the rear brake engages slightly to keep the front put

    Actually not, the GoPro doesn't see any rotation, only the walls of the tire 'waving' Since the rubber of the tire is moving at the same rate as the rim that the camera is attached to, and there's no outside frame of reference ... without using any other sensors other than visual the camera doesn't see any rotation. At least I think that's how it works ... frame of reference and Einstein..

    This was a long and descriptive comment from Warped Perception that got buried down below: Putting it up here: Believe it or not, no. It's a long story with this project but I blew up 5 tires in the course of three days. originally I was going to do this somewhere else and then my neighbor's literally told me it's okay it's not a big deal oh, but I don't think they knew it was going to be 5 tires in a row, neither did I. there was some bad crew communication and the person that was supposed to tell me that the tire went flat did not tell me oh, that's why the GoPro was destroyed. And the first two tires were nothing but technical difficulties because the amount of intense air current inside the tire as well as the heat created, the are inside of the tire got up to almost 350 degrees, I was going to show that with the thermal camera, but this video was not about that it was just about the inside view. It was pretty crazy the things that I learned on this project.

    Ok so don't say I never listen to you....lbvs. I tried your title, but it didn't do as well... ☹️. I thought it was fantastic but apparently the KZread algorithms did not like it, I'm assuming it's the word exploding.

    Do a vid where you run over nails and then fill the tire with slime and see how it fills the holes

    I’d love to see what happens to an under inflated tire from inside. I know the sidewalls start loosing rubber and get thin and then explode, but it would cool to see from the inside!

    i'd take it a step further; run over something that punctures the tire where it loses all air pressure, and then drive on the resulting flat tire.

    Just imagine your luck if you buy a new house in a different neighborhood due to loud or unruly neighbors at your previous one, and then this guy is your new neighbor.
