Thanks so much for the comment!!! Yes, it's normal for the camera to heat up. You can take it underwater up to 33' without any additional case. Just make sure the side and bottom doors are closed because this is where water can get in and ruin your camera.

The battery is built in to the Hero 7 White, so you don't need to buy one. You do need to buy a microSD card though.

Did you update the firmware? After the firmware update , HyperStabilization is available at 4k-60.
