In the 90's I was a decent amateur with big dreams. Gopro wasn't even invented. When I "retired " I quit following the sport for quite some time because I missed so much. Watching this..... naw, I wasn't a decent amateur, I was a beginner! Lol. I still have all my trophies on display though because, damn, I worked hard for them and have the x-rays to prove it.

I raced east coast Camel supercross in the late 90s. Based on qualifying you pick your gate. Gate positions towards the inside are where the fastest guys will line up. Whomever is on the inside can control the riders on the outside, able to push them farther out thus the riders on the outside have to slow down. Riders on the far outside however can sometimes sweep the outside very fast and come out of the turn in a good position, however it is very chancy. Watch closely and you will see how that happens

rv is cool but james is better or atleast was rv said james was faster but cant stay on the bike also rv still hasn't hit the 24 or 25 win streak like stewart and charmicheal but hey there all good riders if there pro and james in a interview said hes just trying to ride he has nouthing to prove guys he has the most championships thene mostly anyone but if u saw the outdoor series u see how much faster stewart is thene theme until he gets hurt p.s. im a js7 fan haha but respect to all pros

Yes, Stewart is faster and you can see that when they race, but Stewart also is very aggressive. He has tendencies to hit other riders and knock people off the track. From races I've watched. In all fairness it is a race, RV is just a more clean cut racer is turns are smooth and so are his straights. All in all, they are both amazing and equally respected.
