It is really quiet! The tail is definitely quieter too

Lots of nice flying vids on the Tube but not much information about the machine itself. No comprehensive manual or in-depth instructions on the finer points. If this is your first copter, hopefully you'll have a buddy to answer your questions.

So you have had this for awhile now, did you dial in any kind of pitch curve or expo fixes for the deadband many complain about on collective around center?

Awesome flying! Do you know if the retail version will come with all the included stuff as your package like the spindles, main shafts and batteries?

So from what I’ve been told, the first few batches will be coming with all the extra stuff that mine came with. But I guess after that they will only be coming with one battery one main shaft and feathering shaft. All the other stuff that mine came with it’s like a bonus gift lol

Way better then the Infusion 180 two completely different level helicopters. I can’t say it flies better than them too but it’s definitely right there! I can’t say it flies better than the M2 but it’s definitely right there

Looking to get a spektrum controller for helis. How many channels total do you need? 7? The controller will be strictly for helis only. Currently looking at the dx8e.

So technically you only need 6ch but if you want full abilities with different FBL units I highly recommend 8ch minimum. The NX8 or NX10 is a fantastic radio. The e series stands for Economy so there’s certain features like voice and couple different programmable features that you will not get.

Is there a setting for different servo trims in different modes? Just bought the RTF version with the M8 Tx. and in normal mode it drifts alot, half stick elev/aile for lvl hover. In stunt modes its locked in. You can see the different trims on the bench switching between norm and stunt 1/2. The app only worked one time when i 1st recieved it so cannot check any settings there. Waiting on a rec to bind to my ix14 to see if it does it on that. Somewhat disheartening after dropping over $500 on heli n spares and end up with a bad gyro, if thats the problem.

To anyone who buys the S2, you should check all bolts carefully after the 1st flight. I had a servo screw back half out. No thread lock residue on the bolt.

Legitimate concern! They are a new company, they are just now getting their first model to market. With the quality and the performance of this thing I highly doubt they’re gonna be going anywhere anytime soon. Heli direct is the main distributor in the US so I don’t see parts going anywhere anytime soon

Judging by the amount of detail and effort they put into the manual, written with actual English, I don't think they are in it for a quick buck.

Where is this English manual of which you speak? Also a description of how the bluetooth adjustments are used to tweek performance? Lots of unboxing and first flight but not much detail for tuning, etc. I'm a beginning helo flyer and this is my first copter.

​@@RudyNortz It's the perfect heli for you then. You don't have to do any tuning on it really. If you really wanted to get into it and tune you can a little, but there isn't much you can do.

Does the tail blow out? Is the tail better than the OMPHobby M2?

No the tail does not blow out what’s so ever. Yes the tail performance is better then the M2

That’s Rob! I appreciate that! So this is a brand new heli to market. Only ones are the Test/review helis. But Heli direct is taking preorders. So far it’s almost passing the M2! Little bit bigger rotor diameter and longer tail-boom as well as bigger tail blade. I’m going to fly them back to back and see what I think then.

Those have to be the hardest line of sight things to fly because orientation is all over the place.

Yes orientation is definitely the hardest with a helicopter

I just had my first flight with the goosky s2 in auto mode. I noticed it drifting to the right. Do you know what this is due to, I have never flown with it, this is the first time.

They will drift in auto level mode. You can do a calibration flight which will help.

So shopping for a new micro m2v2 or goosky?

Man that is a extremely difficult decision! As of right this second I’m going to say that the S2 flies just a little better but they’re both neck and neck with each other.

Thank you! I’m glad you like the videos! So I own the M2, M2 EVO and S2. My favorite is the S2. It’s got a lot more power, better tail performance and better FBL flight performance.
