    Gosh. i didn't realize it was from 1960s until i saw your caption. I guess the film was imported to China probably 15 years later. I remember watching it when i was in junior high. battle scenes were pretty exciting back then. the scene i was most impressed is a French sailor or airborne soldier was killed by German spies and had his uniform stolen. his body was dumped at a phone booth...

    Yes, it's well over 50 years this movie! Ah yes, I recall that scene very well, he is taken as he goes for a bus I think? There's also an exciting pursuit across rooftops to capture one of the Germans and a scene in a sauna! Great to hear from you btw, it's been a long time!

    No, by 1969 most movies were in colour. There were colour movies in the 1930s, rare, but they did get made. It was fairly common by the 1950s, more so in the US, to make colour films but certainly by the 1960s it became more and more the norm.
