As explained in the video, you cannot install Google Play onto Fire TV devices.

Hi Tanya. Ive been trying to get an ad free version of all4 to work on a Fire stick Lite but says it needs Google Play services installed to work. I don't want to risk bricking the Firestick. I wondered if you could suggest anything.

If you see the message "Google Play Services required" when opening the app, select OK to dismiss the notice. The application will open and work correctly.

That is not entirely true for games. Some games do require that you are logged in to have some functions enabled. So I wonder if there is a workaround for those.

I've downloaded aptiode and it loads OK. However, when I click on an app. I cannot scroll up to 'install' it will only scroll left and right along the bottom menu of 'Home' 'Editorial 'Search' etc. Why can't I scroll up to the large orange 'Install' bar option? Thank you in advance

my Firestick TV settings does not have Developer Options or submenu ADB Debugging. So when i download the Downloader App, it asks for settings change and i cannot do anything about it... I tried using NordVPN to see if FireStick TV would modify its settings but nothing changed. Any Suggestions?

When i launch KZread kids I get an error message saying "YT kids wont run without google play services which are missing from your device". Goes without saying i have already installed play services. Im running Fire HD 8 (2022) android 8.0+ software. Its worth noting it works fine on my Fire HD 8 (2020) which is running android 7 i think. HELP PLEASE! :(

Not sure sorry, it could be that the 2022 Fire HD has an updated OS that is not compatible with the version of YT Kids you're trying to install. Try installing different versions until you find one that works. Have you tried downloading the app from the Downloads page on my website firetvsticks.com

On the new firesticks and 3rd generation fire cube, there is no developer option

Yes, some apps will say this. But sometimes you are able to select OK to bypass this message and the app will work as normal.

Yes, it's there if you want to install it on other devices, but as mentioned in the video, it WILL NOT WORK on Firesticks and Fire TV devices.

@@FireTVSticks The only reason I watched your video, I needed to find out if I could download the eufy security app to watch video footage from my security camera. I found the app on Aptoide TV but it wasn't compatible so I couldn't use it. So I'm going to try it on my 4K smart television and hopefully I'm successful.

I just use app2fire to transfer apps from my phone to my firestick using its ip address. No real need to install another app store on the firestick.
