funny thing is now, all other folding phones are better than Samsung's. How ridiculous.

Definitely all of them are better than Samsung except the Google Pixel fold. Vivo X fold 3 pro is in the top of the list.

@@deltaechomusicnh555 you are saying that just because you never tried other android skins from Xiaomi and Vivo. From my personal experience and after having phones from Xiaomi and Vivo I can tell you that Samsung has the most boring software among all of them. The Vivo X fold 3 pro will be released globally in few days, keep an eye on this one to see why Samsung is just a trash in term of software and hardware.

I hope Google changes Android to use "tablet mode" on this aspect ratio without rotating the phone.

I'm way more excited for the Pixel Fold 2

Google Fold 2 looks more interesting to me than Fold 6 and if Google Fold gets a new good camera then Samsung will have a hard time, and since Google Fold got a new update that now shows everything in full screen, it is also closer to Samsung software.

Am i crazy, or is the PF2 notably wider when rotated?

The Pixel Fold 2 looks like it might have a in display camera.

Kinda sucks since I was looking forward to the same size with the new tech. To me, it looks like the Samsung which is not bad except we already have that I wanted something different..

Will the fold 2 come to Canada?

If the outside display is 75.3cm - 75.8cm wide, that would be excellent.

Google is doing better with the second fold then Samsung . I can imagine the pixel fold 4 or 5 what it would look like if they are already implementing upgraded cameras ,bigger screen. When bezels gets smaller and the screen squares out Google will have the perfect foldable as long as it keep upgrading its cameras

I mean, the Z FOLD 2 looks way different than the Z FOLD 1... The problem is, every FOLD that came after looks the same as the Z FOLD 2.

definitely think that the pixel 10 will end up looking like the fold 2 - prefer that design for the 10 than the 9

The inner screen is too square; it just doesn't seem useful to me; 4:3 aspect ratio would be ideal! No one knows how useful it is because we haven't really been given that option on a single screen phone before. I was planning on this being my next upgrade from my LG v60 (since it is no longer getting updates), and while I was initially extremely turned off by the early leaks and rumors, I'm a little bit less turned off now (but it's still a no go for me at this time, although I'll hold out hope for extremely positive reviews at launch). But when Samsung has such a great trade in program (compared to Google) at launch, why would I choose this over Samsung (now that they are mostly the same form factor)?

I can't wait for it. Trading in my 8 pro

Excited to hear that it will use the newest Google chip G4. Rumors it will be a more battery-efficient and faster processor.

Google needs to use the same matte screen that the Oneplus Open uses to decrease the crease

You know what would make me buy a phone over the other foldable phones if they finally made one that has 6 / 9 ratio again. Something that you could actually enjoy the screen to watch movies and entertainment. None of these phones are being bought to crunch numbers to do serious, hard work. These are made for when you're going places and you wanna have a tablet. And you want to have entertainment? You want to get on your sites? Great, but you want to watch your movies. You know what this tells me. You're gonna have bigger black bars. That's all it's gonna do now, now. You just gonna have bigger black bars up on top of the new ratio that sucks, if somebody would come out in the United States with one that you could actually watch a movie, that's full without having to zoom it and crop the sides. That'd be the phone I'd buy

If this phone had an actual gallery app I might consider it.

Google has a gallery app now separate from Google photos

They should have made it narrower but not taller. A smaller phone that folds out into a large screen. I’m so tired of tall phones, it kills the usability

Display doesn’t look awful. It looks better then Samsung. I’m waiting for Pixel 2 fold. Google is going to out due Samsung in everything. Look! Google learn from the pixel fold 1 that they needed to redo everything on the pixel 2. Google is going to surprise us and give us better foldable phone this time around. I’m waiting the pixel 2. Pixel Fold 1 is a better aspect I love mine now a year later. Taller phones doesn't make it better Greg playing is best don't have reach to far up. They nailed the first time great cameras can't go wrong running Android 15 beta 2.1 beast mode.
