Seems like better video quality than the 8 Pro even. The 8 Pro is overdoing it with contrast. Here its also there (like a black cast on your face) but not so much. Just the portrait mode on the device is poop. Looks awful with the cutouts all over the place. In video the sharpness of frames is not consistent. It seems like its doing some trickery as it cannot keep up with the framerate. At least at 4k.

Interesting thought. Never thought about that. But yes the 4k footage isn't consistent as there are some frame rate drops

I made pixel 8a vs 7a camera comparison

Leaving prices of things aside for a moment, I'm blown away by the quality, liquidy smooth pans, few dropped frames that I could notice, I'd take down the saturation a notch but looking good. I have waded my way through so many budget midranger reviews for 4K video quality and so many of them have issues, some small, some not so small (like dropped frames stutter/some with focus hunting/pulsing). I know the price is wrong but assuming it drops over the next weeks and months, looking good.

I didn't review the oppo find X6 pro I'm afraid. I had the find X7 ultra and the Chinese version will not have the NFC payments. Also android auto won't work

Google as usual always knows where to get the consumers... Camera quality always top tier. This will probably be a top 3 in MKBHD's year end camera tournament. Thanks for the videos Sir.

Please reply, Which generation usb type C is there? Does it heat while recording 4k 30 videos ? What about battery does it last a day, I am not phone addict, just prefer to record most of the time.

If you record for a long period of time it will get hot like most of the phones. It has usb 3.2 as far as I can remember. But check Google website as I might not be 100% correct on this
