Sorry, but that would be a wrong assumption. I recommended pixel to my friends they laughed at me saying that the pixel is bad. I use pixel 6a by the way, they are so ignorant that they think Chinese phones like vivo are better than pixel. The mother of Android

i use pixel 8 pro and google has a lot of problems to work with , the slow and not accurate fingerprint , the charging isnt fast as samsung or xiaomi , and the phone doesnt play games at 120 or 60 fps , its just so weak in games

Pixel 5 has gotta be my favourite pixel design of all time. Wasn't released in my country however.

Sadly the same here. But luckily it was not really hard to get here because some stores imported it. I remember buying the pixel 3 but it got a UK charger in the box which doesn't work here.

Headphone jack, 5G, beautiful display, amazing camera, rear fingerprint sensor. This is Hands down the best phone I've ever had. Bought it for 130$ Wish they still made phones like this

I love my 5 and my only pet peeve is the under display speaker which makes phones calls harder to hear. But I won't upgrade because I don't want a huge phone and I love having a physical fingerprint reader on the back!

Being a Pixel fan since the 1st generation Pixel phone, I always wished to buy the Pixel 5 due to its compact and smaller size. Nowadays, every smartphone has a gigantic display size, which is uncomfortable to use. I wish this phone had a longer period of Android updates so that I could never exchange it with a new one, haha, like the Pixel 8 series :D

Great video as always!! When the Pixel 5 came out, I judged it for how much the launch price was for the package you get. But as time went on and this thing got cheaper, it started to make more sense to buy. I could only imagine if it was powered a higher end Snapdragon chipset. Love your content mate! Keep it up :)

Thanks a lot for the positive comment! I completely agree. The price to performance ratio was pretty bad when it got released. A worse processor than the 4, no telephoto camera, worse build quality, worse speakers, no motion sense. It sounded like a downgrade to me at first. But like you said: Now they are a lot cheaper.

Thanks a lot for the comment!Honestly the newer ones are in a lot of ways better than this one, but not in all aspects. For example the symmetrical bezels, unlimited Google photo storage, small form factor, fingerprint sensor on the back. But then again, the newer ones have more advanced hardware of course, and newer software

Just imagine a Google Pixel 5 like the iPhone SE idea from Apple with the latest and greates google tensor and all AI technology

It was a long time dream to have a pixel. I was planning for pixel 4a but got an updated pixel 5! The decision was perfect. This is one of my favourite phones till date. I am a fan of compact phones and in 2024 it was really difficult to get such phones. So I asked my friend to get it from the US( it was never released in India). I just love the form factor , the camera performance. Pros: compact size, clean UI , fast charging+ reverse charging, 90 hertz refresh rate, OLED screen etc. Cons: Video output could have been better, no further Google support. Volume issue while on a call due to the speaker placed under the screen.

I used to have Pixel 5 which I sold last year. This is a good phone, but it doesn't have a telephoto camera.

In my opinion, using a smartphone like the Pixel 5 that stopped getting security updates is like driving a car where the seatbelts rotted away. Even if you drive as safe as possible, some knucklehead is going to hurt you. That's why I updated my Pixel 5 with LineageOS 21. LOS 21 security updates stalled for a month after Google released Android 14 QPR2, but LOS 21 got April security updates yesterday. My Pixel 5 fits very comfortably in my pocket.

I’ve got an XS, a 13 mini, and I Pixel 5. I’ve used the iPhone ecosystem. I like it - I don’t love it. But the Pixel 5 and 4a designs just always seem to pull me back.

Similar story here. I downgraded from a Pixel 8 to a 13 mini purely because I wanted a smaller phone, but I just ordered a Pixel 5 because I can't be without the Pixel camera and the 5 is the closest Pixel in size to the iPhone mini.

Used daily as my back up phone. Only 2 things I'm a little frustrated about. Cannot update to Android 15, cannot use passkey

Its my favourite phone ☺️

Have you tried turning on adaptive brightness? Some websites say that manual brightness on Pixel 5 yields ~400 nits max, while with adaptive brightness on it can get up to ~700 nits.

Still using mine today. I don't see the need to upgrade. Camera is great, it's still very fast .. and its small compared to other flagships. I got mine for less than 200 usd. It's an amazing value device.

I accidentally drove my car over my pixel 5, not a scratch. Worked perfectly. This was my favorite phone, I tried the pixel 8 but it was too clunky

This was the best phone ever in my opinion.

Повышенная надёжность , но большой вес и габариты. Купил маленькй смартон Unihertz jelly star, от китайский Сунь-Вынь, красного цвета, вес 116грамм, моё зрение слабо, текст не вижу иногда, а так это удивительный опыт. Эргономика смартфона, можно зажать в кулак и он исчезает. В итоге pixel буду пользоваться навсегда.

The Weight (151 grams) is a HUGE and overlooked advantage of this phone compared to new phones in 2024 which are mostly 190-210 grams (as well as them being a lot bigger, whivh is more obvious)... I cant handle the new phones (they are phablets to me, including the Pixel 7a, which ks so heavy)..., gonna keep my Pixel 5 as long as i can, (and will gey the battery replaced in about 9 months or so)... it feels like it is the last Great Android PHONE.

Ima be real here the google pixel in my opinion is the best budget phone very good design and its fast asf

Maybe it's just me, but I feel android phones acts and reacts a little faster than apple's new flagship, iPhone 15 Pro, I have that one and this one and the pixel 5 feels faster in some areas which is weird when the apple phone is 120hz

I'm interested to buy a pixel 5 hope so i will get a good deal

Honestly tensor is not bad in my opinion, except it drains the battery fast so the phones need a big battery. So if you buy a powerbank you also need one with a larger capacity which is kinda annoying.

I'm using Google Pixel 5 too. The pros are decent speed, battery life, good size (not too big or too small), and very good photo quality. The screen can be very bright at max level. An added bonus is unlimited Online Google Cloud Backup for all photos and videos for the phone. The only drawback I noticed is that it mysteriously consumes 10% of battery during sleep time at night (8 hrs) even if I put it in airplane mode and turn off all apps. My old Moto E4 only drops 1% or less of battery under the same condition. But of course that E4 is too slow and sucks in photo quality.
