They paused image generation back in Feb for US users because of inaccuracies in some historical depictions generated by Gemini, so that they may be the reason why you can't generate images.

Hey there! Are you currently residing in the states? If you are you're not going to able to generate images. You may want to use a VPN and generate using an IP from an Asia country. Opera browser offers free VPN services. I hope this helps. 👍

Hey there, yes it is possible. An associate of mine leverages the Gemini API to sent text and receive image output using Google cloud along with an API Key. I suggest looking into Gemini AI for developers site. I hope this helps.

Hey there. Gemini has restrictions when it comes to reproducing well-known figures, young children images, and images that may be considered illegal...same as DALL-E. So, even if your intentions weren't any of these, it may sometimes not generate it.

Yes, Google will infact defend you if you landscape yourself into legal trouble for images that Gemini produced. But you may want to look into this a bit further for more updates.

Sadly the image generation is no longer available in Gemini Advanced. It's a bit of a let down

@@sejinAI I asked Gemini about this, and Gemini insists that it is a new AI and not in any way related to Bard. And definitely does not want to be seen as Bard 2.0

It just tells me: "I can't create images yet so I'm not able to help you with that."

I figured out why, according to google: "Image generation in Gemini Apps is available in most countries, except in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the UK. It’s only available for English prompts." When I used a VPN to connect to the US, it immediately worked 👍

Hey there! Yes! I was just about to reply with that. With google products they usually roll out their products to a couple of countries but eventually everyone gets access. It's just a matter of time before you get access to it too. I'm glad VPN worked! hahahahaha
