How can i screen mirroring iphone on tv box xiaomi s2 gen?? It sa is chromecast bult in, but my iphone don s see the tv , thank you!

Xiami mi box s not available from Walmart Canada. Nor are boxes like the ONN ones available at Walmart USA. No idea why since they sell a variety of other ONN devices, including the smart TVs...

I like Xiaomi product, it's the best if you want to cast your content from Android or IOS phones to TV. It's way forgiving and never have any speed issues. Acturally I still have the Xiaomi TV box from 8 years ago. It still beats FireTV in terms of mirroing and casting feature, and it has the most practical ports. Besides Xiaomi has the best design IMO.

@eyeperture does it allow to change quality of the video while playing? 480p, 720p, 1080p? I've the older Google Chromecast and this is the only features lagging and bothers me in daily usage

You have made a mistake because you can turn the amazon ads off by doing the following Firestick home Settings Preferences Feature content Turn both options off

And just a side note to anyone reading this ,in the preferences turn all 3 privacy settings off then go onto the notification settings and click do not disturb ON and click app notifications and turn all off , doing this make your firestick run a lot faster and you'll know straight away my pressing the home button and home page has no lag at all.

ALL 3 fullfil my wishes, so I would take the cheapest of the 3. However if budget is not a issue for you AND you have a Wifi 6 able router, so go for the Fire stick!

No f**k fire stick pushing ads on the main menu even though the TV is turned off. Plus they're forcing updates without you knowing. I have the fire cube 2nd gen and it used to be great but as time goes by it's getting worse.

I Lost my Google Chromecast since May,2023 after google online update and it now only freeze on G with any response and no response for any reset using its reset button !! Also there are thousands of same case on google support forum with no any solution from google !!!!??? I have to order XIAOMI 2nd Gen as I think I have to throw Chromecast away ... Thanks Google😇

I have Mi Tv stick and Fire stick 4k, as a stremio user i think mi tv box s 4k 2nd gen can be the best for now.. I really did not like how the UI was with the Chrome 4k and also read that it underperforms in stremio. Firestick 4k (not even the max version) is super snappy in menus for sure but really getting fed up with amazon and disney content cluttering up and the lack of customization. It feels like i am renting the device rather than owning it . Xiaomi mi tv stick also being able to power it self through a generic tv usb port (which is super slick on projector usage) it probably as sluggish as chrome 4k in menus , that s how i feel... mi tv box S will be my next choice unless chrome 4k gets updated with better CPU support. The lack of a USB 3.0 port on Tvbox s 4k is not a biggie for me.

All of them are capable of displaying UHD (4K) resolution as mentioned in the video. The difference is more on the hardware, feature set and the ecosystem.

(I donk know about the Google Chromecast) but the Fire TV Stick also has USB2.0 port (not USB 3.0)! It can not be anything better because it is using an old Micro USB socket. You didnt mention this about Fire TV (but did mention for Xiaomi TV Box S)

Yes, you're definitely right! The Fire TV Stick also has a micro USB port similar to how Google Chromecast has USB C port for power. It can also be used to plug accessories/devices to it. The only issue is that the adapter you need to be able to use it is more uncommon when compared to the full size USB A port in the Xioami TV Box S (not used for power input) and to the more standard USB C port in Google Chromecast.

MI box 2nd gen excellent

Mi box 2nd gen is the best in picture quality as compared to Fire tv stick max.

What has Xiaomi done to stop the system freezes - no software to clear memory or wifi locks We have a year old 4K stick that cant be cleared !!

It depends what you need. The X4Q pro is a wonderful box but almost half the price more of the Mi box. It doesn't have Dolby vision support and it only works perfectly when you put the Ugoos atv 11 mod on it. It includes a mouse remote and also supports regular android apps. It has 1gb lan input and great wifi. The Xiaomi mi box, which I personally got for 56 euros, is enough for Kodi alone. A wonderful price. It has very average wifi. A big plus is that it has the option to adjust the screen in the settings, which I'm not sure Google Chromecast tv has, but Realmi tv stick 4k and Mecool K7+ certainly don't. So everyone with googleTV. So for an undemanding user, for a price of around 60 euros, the Mi stick S 2nd gen is more than excellent.
