It's amazing to see the eclectic mix of vehicles on icy track. 🏎

If you say you're going to show us everything, show us everything! There were some really interesting cars in the background or montages there which we didn't get to actually look at properly. I think this could have been a much longer film or a series - this approach felt very compromised.

I see many other cars with condensation in the headlights often Mercedes. Thats a problem with LED i guess.

To sum it up: Rich people doing a circle on snow in fancy cars. We have many local tracks, where you pay 20 euro for a day on 1+ KM 10 m wide ice! And they have circle? lol

Nah. Car enthusiasts getting together for a laugh. You heard the man, any car is welcome. The rain washed away most of the snow so they couldn’t build a big or intricate track.

@@km6832 I don’t get your point. It’s a race. Racing is expensive. Of course only a certain calibre of people are there - how much do you think it costs to A- get a car ice-race worthy B- get it to Austria? The vast majority of attendees were Racing Drivers.

There is a great ice race in Summit county, Colorado that's been going on for years. Mostly Jeeps if I remember.

We went to the ICE event at St Moritz and it wasn't good at all. There was nothing there to see or do and again the ice was just slush.

The fact that Ollie thinks little of the absolutely legendary mk4 R32 and instead praises the ugly, frog-looking, and heavy mk5 is baffling. Loses some VW credibility in my eyes

Sorry lost all respect for your opinions now. MK5 R32 over a MK4 are you even a car fan? Manual MK4 1. Looked better 2. Drove better without the awful DSG. Owned from new and ran for 12 years after that I still got more than 50% of its value back. That never happened with the MK5.

A Golf GTI without a manual gearbox ? What a joke... Praises go to Toyota with their GR Yaris success: lots to learn from this.
