Juliette and I decided to go shopping after preschool. We both found treasures. For sissy, that treasure was a bag of cheese-curls.

I’m pausing your video at about the 15 minute mark to tell you how happy it makes this old Grandma of 8 to see you shopping with your daughter. I’ve watched several of your videos when you’ve taken your children along with you. In this “perfect” day and age where I’ve watched so many “perfect” people out buying and telling their audience what things are in their “perfect” settings, I must say it is so refreshing to see a “real” Mom out with her “real” children. I did the same thing because that’s what “real” Mom’s did. You are a wonderful example for your children. You are also patient and you actually listen to your children as though what they are saying is important. Now I’ve said all that to make a point. I’m retired from selling antiques and owning my own estate sale company after 30+ years. You are setting an example for your children that you will not believe. My baby girl (she’s 39 with 5 kids) and my two sweet boys (34 & 37) 😂 went everywhere with me. Little did I know the knowledge they were absorbing during all these trips to yard sales with their Momma! My boys do NOT like anything old unless it’s a classic car, but my daughter could tell you the name of the company that made an item to the year it was made by the time she was 12 years old. She LOVES all things old. She had, by the age of 9, what I called “the EYE”. In old folks terms, she could spot the one item on a yard sale table before we even got out of our car. She was little and fast and would run straight for it (including going under tables, etc.). The point I’m trying waaaaay too long to make is Miss Sissy may someday be your best employee. You, being the most patient, considerate, caring Mom I’ve watched on any video in the short time I’ve discovered uTube, will be rewarded when these sweet little sponges develop a passion for the past and a respectful appreciation for older items. Thank you for educating your children and being patient and soft spoken with them as you are making these videos. Ok, getting off my soapbox now. ❤️

I agree with you. I did the same with my daughters and like you was unaware that they were absorbing knowledge.

Sissy certainly loves our shopping trips, but her stuffed animal collection is growing quite rapidly. And I’m thinking to myself... maybe I should have bought her the fish tank thingy. Haha. I do hope that she retains some of what I teach her, but that will come with time I’m sure. ☺️

@@CrazyLampLady as a child I had an endlessly growing collection of figureens. My Mom would encourage me to donate one item for every item I brought home. That cyclical idea may assist in thinning out Sissy's stuffed animal orphanage (collection).

Crazy lamp lady be like - let me do my hair and makeup, but the kid? Nay she likes fine - LOL. JK great video!
Your dapper rabbit figurine is a Pendelfin! I used to live in Germany and remember those coming in from England at our BX. I think they date back to the 50's. Your sweet daughter is a cutie-patootie!
Awe love when you shop with Sissy! She's getting so big. Great video
I love watching your videos and your relationship with your daughter teach her well . lol
You two are so darn fun to watch. Sissy is such a cool sidekick!
You're such a great mommy, so proud of what you do and how you love your babies, thank you for sharing your experience and videos, I'm a Grandma of 3 ,momma of two and you remind me of myself back in the day lol
Love your shopping trips! Thanks!
You are so helpful! I found some of that moon and stars at my TS I bought it because I like it and to keep it I had no idea the name of it until you taught me! So informative thank you!! Love your videos
Been binge watching your videos since 5pm yesterday 🙌 & im headed to goodwill today! Yaaaaass!! I suck at this though lol
i love your videos i learn alot from you thanks for all the great videos
I love the little green deer and the lamp.
I would love that carousel book. Thanks for taking us along. Sissy has decorating sense, she saw a rainbow volcano you saw fish tank.
Jocelyn....I just discovered your channel last week and I think I have watched all your " thrifting " videos. You have a wonderful sense of humor and you and Sue make a great team. I have been an avid thrift store shopper for many years here in Sacramento, California. I have never sold anything but enjoy the hunt for " treasure"!
Love both of your channels 💕 I’ve been following your Relic Recoverist for quite a while and must say I love both equally. I have renamed our Goodwill to GOOD GRIEF... ridiculously over priced 😐
I would of jumped at that LE Smith compote! But I buy for myself not for resell. It was lovely!
Sissy's laugh when she dropped her brother's tablet lol!
You and Sissy make a great duo! Love your videos!
Live the shoppung Sissy so cute hope she enjoyed her cheese curles. 👍😁🙏💕
Just bought my daughter the same sweatshirt! So cute 😊 Love your videos.
New to your channel love your personality great fun with your daughter. I love thrift stores great way to relax and get lost. Many blessings love and peace to you and your family.
Glad to see colors back in your hair. Missed them
These videos are so fun to watch.
I just found your channel yesterday. I love your personality! ❤️❤️
That Dutch wooden shoes we call Klompen if you need one more just give me a call... ☺ good for America to have such a passionate ppl like you That Princess in a shopping card i guess is priceless 🌷
This channel is blowing up. Love watching the vids. Tfs 👍❤
The moon and stars set I found at a thrift store recently. I had no idea what it was until just now. I got a whole box of the green for $2. I bought it because it matches the Franciscan rose dinner set I bought at another thrift store. Thanks for the education.
Hey Jocelyn, when is the best time, in you opinion, to go to a thrift store? First thing in the morning, afternoon, or does it really matter? Enjoy watching. You and your family are adorable. I enjoy seeing Drew and Sue when they are with you. Thanks for sharing all your good advice and knowledge.
Sissy got the cutest monster! You two have a pretty good time shopping i see.
The rabbit is a Pendelfin. Perhaps a variation of the Uncle Soames figurine, which was made in various colourways. Soames normally wears an ascot rather than a bow tie, but their stance is the same.
Yay 🙌 hugs to you two beauties.
Love, Love, Love the Rabbit.
My my ... Kiddos grow so fast!!❤
love y’all ❤️❤️ love the creepy dollies lol 😂

I saw those mugs on your Instagram and someone helped you figure out the designer, I forgot already, but when I went on Pinterest he does beautiful work. Awwh, those were the good old days when I used to bring my kids shopping. Your daughter is so well behaved I love watching when you bring your kids. I went to the thrift store, I keep trying to see if I could spot things of value. I have noticed I have a good eye and know what things are expensive looking. Anyhow as soon as I went in the store I went right to the knick knacks and such. Way in the back, I spotted a cute iridescent white dainty swans, so pretty! I knew just by the design it was expensive porcelain. I turned it over and read Capodimonte Italy 2.99. I thought somebody did not have their glasses on when pricing that one. Usually those types of things go on the collectors shelves for higher price. I looked on etsy and they are selling for 39.99. It is a rare piece it says. Any how I will be keeping it of course. If I were to open up an etsy shop I would need a ton of inventory and its very hard to come by in the thrift shops. I will be looking out for up and coming spring church bazars and garage sales ect. Do you do Garage sales for vintage items?
Sissy is the cutest! Love her troll doll.

ooooo love the green deer and the lamp. Ok I am heading out to GW. I so miss my sidekick who is my son, he always went thrifting with me and we always had a ball. But he is 31 years old now and is at work, he keeps trying to get me to come to Pittsburgh and shop the bin's with him. I not sure if I can handle it LOL. I always love your videos and your etsy shop.
Finally ♥️♥️♥️I love this

Good finds today, always nice when you come away with something as fun as that rabbit. I loved it! I see you made a good haul and that is always so satisfying. It is snowing a blizzard here once again and if not for your video's I think I would go a bit stir crazy. Glad you are able to get out and about and aren't buried under piles of the white stuff. I see you handle the challenge of shopping with your kids very well and only wish someone would reinvent the kids shopping cart seat. I hated putting my kids in them as they immediately became fussy. The fact they have to sit on a very hard, too narrow piece of plastic, with their legs dangling in air with no support, has got to be painful for them. I think Missy does really well under the circumstances. It is not your fault if she shows her discomfort, like so many other kids who have to endure those hard nasty seats. I realize it is function over comfort, but I would have paid more in a store just to have a cart with a child friendly seat. Why can't the holes be turned around so the kid sits with their legs inside the cart, facing forward, so we could put something in the cart they could rest their feet on?! This would also allow those small things you put into the seat area to fall into the cart instead of onto the floor, when a child isn't in it. Anyway, I shall not continue this rant, but you know what I mean. I've seen too many sad fussy kids that otherwise are perfectly pleasant, until they are put in those child torture devices, otherwise known as the shopping cart. I used to carry one of those thick pad strips for kneeling in the garden, which I had cut down to fit the cart seat. It seemed to help.
Love the rabbit
You are so much fun to watch & your daughter is adorable. I love the light green deer. How much do you think you will price
Again I’m wowed!! How does chipped items sale? You’re amazing!! ♥️. Jessie
Some of those fish tank decor pieces, if they are older, are worth quite a bit of money!
Sissy/ Corcelain is becoming quite the little co-star. If I were her I would have wanted the boots off too. Feet are best natural. Can't wait to see what you find out about the 4 little green containers. I'll be waiting for the haul video. Do you think Sissy would share any of those cheese curls? I haven't had those in a long time.😊
Shes just too darn cute!! I miss my daughter at this age.
Nice video!
Shame the flower peddles were broken off that piece. Beautiful piece. That lamp was cool.
Really enjoyed your video hi sissy😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Hey I’m pretty sure I talked to you while in the check out line at Community Aid!!! How cool! Maybe I’ll see you again!!! 😁
I have the same green deer, but I think it says napco, not sure. It belonged to my mother in law.
Does anyone know about the little green bowl @6:30? I have a clear one and it looks so familiar. Is the small bowl from a chip and dip set?
OK I know this one is an old video, but... The little twin bud vases you pick up one of by the compote in the first place near the end...small hand painted flowers. Please look for more of those for me. Pairs only.

ollerpops Unfortunately, no. Some of it doesn’t sell for much at all. It’s really all across the board and depends on the individual piece.
I want that rabbit if you’re selling him. Don’t know anything about him, but he’s so cute!!!
👍🏻
Tho the fish could swim around the thing, not through? What did you mean what will Juliette do with that thing on her window ledge? Look at it? She’s got an eye for color. Cute!
This is not the time to be butter fingers lol. 😃 where's sue when you need her lol. 😃.🇨🇦🇨🇦
How much is lusterware worth?
Joc... Heres the episode when you were talking about a Schizophrenia guy... I saw your comment from fb
She s so cute
Why do they call it a French toast snowsuit?
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Giiiiiiirl, you missed two Bartlett Collins vases you could get $20 a piece for! 6:57 mark!
The Goodwill stores in this area put all their good stuff on the internet sell-site and the over priced junk is taken to the store sites. It's pathetic

Well thats a good point:) It would make a cool video if you could catch one on a weekend:) I am alllways looking for vintage stuff at estate sales. I feel kind of bad when families have to sell off things. And i always look for stuff, that even if the family doesnt know, I KNOW i will give it a good home and treasure it:)
I did like the lamp with the fruit! But, I'm not thinking of resale and shipping. I just love lamps, especially the small ones that can be used in any room😁 Really enjoy your shop with me videos.
Do you do your own hair?

Morton Pottery Fawn No. 645 (figurine) is on page 207 of the "Morton Potteries: 99 Years" vol. 2. Hope that helps.
Sadly, I recently learned that Goodwill does little or nothing for any community, they SEVERELY underpay their help particularly the disabled, and their top management makes millions. People donate things to Goodwill, thinking they are helping the poor and disadvantaged, but that is a fallacy. I quit going to Goodwill stores after I learned the truth, and now I shop at the various Veterans’ thrift stores, Salvation Army, and local thrift stores!
Jocelyn, speak up. Your remarks are very intertaining and informative, but we need to hear you. Thanks, Susan vann
I really liked your videos when you had Sue appear. I think it is refreshing to see women of all ages and generations come together. Our society does not value elders as they should. I loved that your best friend is a mature antique collector with vast knowledge. You two compliment each other so well. I read somewhere that you were no longer having her appear because she was "better" than you. I hope this is not a jealousy thing. I wish we could learn to support each other instead of compete with each other. I'm sure that was not Sue's intent.

Hmm. First of all, that sounds like a really nasty rumor and one that needs to be addressed and put to rest. Second of all, this is a bit insulting to my character to suggested that I would toss away a friend because of some perceived notion that she is “better” than me? Sue and I have been friends for years and the thought that I would no longer include her in the videos for something so petty is just laughable. As a matter of fact, we laughed about it a lot over lunch yesterday. Our friendship is a lot stronger than KZread. I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling by even suggesting this or you’re just that poorly perceptive... I’m trying to figure it out.
