Back in the 70s I was given a holly Hobbie plate and I have it put up. I don’t remember the actual date on it but it was before79 I do know that but mine is green and it’s the only one I ever got. I didn’t collect them a lady that distributed cards for Hallmark gave it to me. I loved your wonderful fines. It’s always hard to pick which one is my favorite but the Pyrex bowl at the end was amazing. God bless you and your sweet family and have a wonderful weekend…..🍃💗🍃

I’ve had pretty good luck using a blow dryer on items like tape on wood

If you mention your desire to continue using rubber bands to the manager to the next time you go to Goodwill it may help your cause. Using a hair dryer on a low setting may help loosen the glue on the wood items.

I think I will mention it the next time. The elastics are a new thing one store does. It’s so much nicer.

I immediately wanted the Presidential pitcher, so I got one on Mercari for $14.95. Johnson was President when I was born in 1964. I love it, Thanks for the idea!

Knew you were keeping the girl Hummel pitcher 😂😂😂.....and love the spice of life I have 2 casserole spice of life I use ❤ my all time fav is the gold butterfly corelle, although I do have woodland pattern and old Town blue as well. You should have seen the look on my moms face when she saw my small macrame owl and those plastic wood lookalike fork and spoon on either side of the owl in my kitchen 😂 Wish I could send you pics of my 1970s decor, I think you would be impressed, but I also have 1950s elements like sphaghetti noodle poodles, lefton blue birds and of course 1950s ceramic made in Japan dogs. My hubby put a 2 dog limit on our home so I found a loophole in dog figurines 😂😂😂😂

Loons are on the endangered list due to humans and their nesting habitat getting destroyed. 😢
