The state of Mo doesn’t charge sale tax at their thrift shops or The Bins. All heavy items at my local bin are. $5 each . It could be a sofa or a cast iron skillet. Love shopping at the bins!

Your bins are the best I have ever seen

Oh Wendy, I’m SO sorry to hear that you are going through that!! Since you haven’t had much success at your bins, if you haven’t already, I would suggest checking out the Habitat For Humanity (or ReStore) stores in your area. Also Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, and Craigslist can also be great places to find free or greatly discounted items! So glad to hear your daughter and cat are safe! 💕🙏🏻

Many of the Goodwills buy Target pallets. It's products that can be returned or out of season or such, like you said. Many people believe it's just donated, but it's not. The tags will say T-wares. That way Goodwill can see how their Target products are doing, if they're making $ on the Target pallets, or possibly not Just info. for you.

I like going thrifting with you I like what you pick I'm not over here all disappointed cause you didn't pick an item I liked lol I really don't like when some people record while thrifting some people have no style you are one classy, lady with great taste in decor

Myyyy... what a conglomeration of stuff!!! That short round stool with the wood beads at the start looked like someone's DIY! I loved the olive drab knitted-look Studio McGee throw! It was gorgeous.😊 I thought the striped multicolor tray looked great in the grey primer! I think I need to make a trip to the bins in my town... I've never bin, I mean, been!!! (LOL)😂

Instead of tieing that yarn "pull" into a bulky knot and then cutting the two ends, you could cut the loop and weave the ends into the body of the throw with a crochet hook where they'll easily be hidden!

I like watching your videos on Sunday. And I totally get it how there's so much at the bin's. I think it would be fun to have a store, or maybe a table at a flea market with all the things you find and can fix up with a little bit of paint and tape.

I went for the first time this weekend. It was pretty crazy. Definitely want to try it during the week. Got some pretty cool things, but you definitely score on the Home Goods. Great finds once again! Love the pumpkins, the thick throw blanket (grey), the garland, the floral stems and the reindeer. I just bought myself 2 reindeer last year! This one is sooo cute! The floral stems are great for Spring, Summer or mixing into Fall arrangements!

The wooden piece is supposed to have a glass vase that fits on top and i used it with LED candles. I have two sizes of it but both glass tops broke 😂 so i just place a round ball artificial plant on them. You could also purchase any glass top that fits and add candles inside, it looks really pretty that way.

Amazing what you find at your goodwill. We have a regular Goodwill about a half hour from me and it doesn't have as nice things. Once in a while you might find a few but not much. You have a great eye.
