Actually you are so talented that it is hard for me to choose which one I like best. If I have to choose one I would say it's the two sided wood circle that can be used on either side over and over again.I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for Christmas..

I thought it would be the bench because, holy savings! As the video went on I loved each project more than the last but my favorite definitely was the chandelier. I'd love to see you dupe some boho/farmhouse type decor, maybe a macrame/yarn wall hanging?

My Mum and Dad lived in Lakeland. My Mum went thrifting every single Saturday with her girlfriends. They always had huge success! My Mum and Dad refinished furniture and then my Mum did a lot of reupholstering. She always bought her pieces at GoodWill or a place similar. Lakeland is like 40-50 minutes from Orlando I do believe. My Mum passed away 3 yrs ago. I miss listening to her tell me all about her projects. She had a gift and could refinish or sew anything. She was so talented just like you are. In fact, I inherited so many of her furniture rejects/pieces. I wish I had even 1/2 of my Mum’s talents.

Your Mum wasn't born with all of her talent. It took practice. Pick something you think you will enjoy and jump in! You'll make some hilarious mistakes, as did Mum when she started, but you'll get better. You don't have to be an expert in all of Mum's talents, but that's ok. Enjoy!

The Ballard Designs light fixture you did, I saw so many of them and fell in love instantly until I saw the price. Wood candlestick holder ALERT: I lit a candle one time that was on a wooden candle holder. It was painted gold so I might have thought it was metal. Set it on my wood fireplace mantel. Came in a little later. The candle burned down to the wood and the entire thing was engulfed in flames! Luckily, I got the fire out but it could have easily burned my entire house down had I not gone into that room just in the nick of time.

And for those of you who can't sew or doesn't want to deal with sewing, you could use a staple gun to re-cover the bench. Just fold all the material under the bench & staple! I've re-covered dining chairs & a bench for my daughter's bedroom using the staple method & all have held up for years & looks great! So much easier & less complicated.

For anyone that wants to make a bench, you can make a bench out of a coffee table. It works out wonderfully. Very simple. Add/glue/attach foam to the top, and then just cover the top with your choice in fabric. I bought a tile top coffee table for $5 at a garage sale and did it. Kept the wood legs the way they were. Project took about an hour, if you don't include drying time for the paint (it was a light oak wood frame, I quickly sanded and then painted, I believe 2 coats, maybe 3... I might of primed first. But it came out super cute, and was very fast. I can also recover it however I want, whenever and won't need to repaint unless I want to change it to a dark color or something (I painted it off white), and used it as an end of the bed bench for my daughters room. Currently it serves as seating in her playhouse. Quick and Sturdy.

I have been binge watching your videos for the past week or so & my husband has even came home from work watching them with me. He even brought me home a "surprise" this evening because I've been watching your videos so much! Lol I used to do a lot of DIY projects but lost my desire when my Dad got sick with cancer & past away a couple of years ago & gave away all of my tools, glue guns, scrap pieces, etc. So he came in tonight with bags of goodies. New hot glue gun, rolls of twine, wood burning kit, frames, fabric etc. He truly put my smile back on my face but it's thanks to YOU!

You are going to laugh at how easy her sewing projects are once you get the basics of sewing. I took a class in high school 30+ years ago and can still go right back to it. (My Grandmother used to make her own wool suits. Wow. Unless you are a design students, you don't need to be at that level.) Check your local craft stores for basic sewing classes. Quilters know how to sew, too. You might be able to barter some basic lessons for whatever skill,/cooking/yard work you can do. Most sewers are happy to help those learning. Jump in!

Your mum is right. Please put an elastic bracelet on a pin cushion so you can stop putting pins in your mouth. Inhaling a pin- just no, don't risk it. Your tuna can lighting dupe is outstanding! No words for how clever you are! Because of the finer cables and real looking candles, I also prefer your version aesthetically. Subscribed! Having a lot of fun exploring your channel. The combination of your useful content, warm personality, and effective teaching style is a recipe for lasting success. Congratulations on reaching over 200,000 subscribers! My wife and I are down here in S. FL. Prior to Covid, wherever we went, we couldn't drive by a thrift store or antique mall. We were known to get as far north as your neck of the woods on occasion. Try the Out of the Closet store on Mills (not a ton of furniture when we were in there but they'd just opened and what they did have was impressive, clean, and neatly organized.) I'd like to get back there some day. Also try the Community Thrift in Edgewood. Lots of everything! We've never left there when I was empty-handed. The first time we discovered Community, we bought so many pieces of small furniture and what nots that we couldn't get it all safely secured into the car we were driving, no matter how many bungee cords or ways we tried rearranging it all. I ended up shipping home some of our pieces while my wife played dragon guarding the rest of our hoard that would fit out in the parking lot. Sometimes getting good bargains gets expensive! We were careful to drive the truck up there after that, just in case. Wishing you happy thrifting and every other blessing for you and your family.

I did this year's ago taking a poster of a famous Renaissance painting, I used spray adhesive to tack the poster down to the backing of the frame. It eliminated any buckling. I then took mod podge and painted the picture. So, I made it look like a painting by using the clear mod podge and putting brush strokes over the $12 poster. Now I used an "expensive" frame comparatively. I think my frame was about $50 after my 50% coupon. But I needed something with a bold statement for this painting. And then I had the $12 poster and a $6 bottle of Mod Podge and the paintbrush. So for less than $75 I have a painting hanging on my wall that looks like it cost $2500. People are always amazed at this beautiful painting I have hanging in my living room.
