The A18 isn't powered by electricity nor does it have to be reset after every strike. The A18 trap is powered by a CO2 canister that provides 18 strikes per cartridge. Once your trap is armed it will automatically reset after each strike, meaning no more need to check your traps every day!

Full flexibility to use your own lure
Squirrels can be attracted to many food sources and this flexibility in food sources is why the A18 makes use of the DIY lure basket. The DIY Lure Basket gives users the flexibility to select what lure in the area is most effective at trapping squirrels and/or other large rodents.
Besides being made for squirrels as opposed to mice and rats, how is the A18 Squirrel Trap Kit different than the A24 Trap Kit that is designed for mice and rats?
-The A18 unit is slightly longer than the A24 and has a little bigger opening for the squirrel to put their head in.
-The A18 comes with the tree mount instead of the stand that is included with the A24.
-The CO2 cartridges for the A18 trap last for 18 kills as opposed to the A24 trap where they last for 24 kills.
To kill squirrels, certain states may require a permit or license. This is mentioned on the box and in the Quick Start Guide. In addition, there is a QR code on the box and in the Quick Start Guide that takes them to a landing page with links to each state’s wildlife agency.
