i use a pair of irwin vice grips
The thumb set on my blue water moves along from side to side is this supposed to happen. I can not get the float to ship the water off I'm just needing some help in that department.
BEAUTIFUL
How do you work the silicone ring for the top How do you kept the water from spraying out when unscrewing the cap at the bottom I was given this waterer and I had to call customer service to send me an oring because it didn’t have one on it
The shape and choice of music is giving "I strapped a gun to a mousetrap" kind of vibes.
Thanks for the demonstration, not. Fail FAIL FAIL FAIL
Not a fail if that wasn't the intention of the video! 👍. Stay tuned! perhaps we'll do a follow-up that actually says that it's a demonstration.
If I cannot wait for these HOT SHOT batteries, can I just use 6-C batteries?
I've seen this for shavings and not only sand before. A longer video may help significantly. For some it depends on the bedding type they use as for whether chicken wire or hardware cloth will be the best and hardware cloth does come in different sizes than just 1/4 inch as well. 1/4 in may only be good for sand and other very fine bedding types. We will sometimes do this just for regular stalls with horses because so much does fall through the forks when doing the sifting portion and the basket style forks also help with the process.
Just out of curiosity and because you didn't mention it - why can it not be used for goats?
Simply put, the goats and sheep are not strong enough to push the paddle.
A stick and a razor blade is basically the same thing. Just saying.
We would love to see a tutorial on how to make one that is just as easy to hold onto with gloves as it tears through bale netting. Please be sure to include how to secure the razor blade so it doesn't tear off when being ripped through the netting. I mean, we wouldn’t want the razor blade to get stuck in the hay so the cattle might eat it. Talk about a needle in a haystack! Oh! And let us know what type of wood to use that will hold up under the rough usage. The Hayknife has a handle that can be used with gloves, a blade is secure and can be tucked away for safety and will hold up for years of use. Your tutorial on creating a stick with a razor blade that will match the functionality of the Hayknife will be great! Should we watch for it?
Cute cow
I prefer a deep bed of straw that gets changed every six months, with some fluffing up and straw added. the old straw is added to a compost bin.
do you have a video on how to adjust Equifount automatic waterers? Mine is always full?
We just uploaded one today. here is the link kzread.infoWUH5yOfQjk0 There may be other issues with the valve. Age (wear and tear may mean that you need to replace the valve) - High pressure that exceeds what the valve is rated for or debris caught in the valve. Start with adjusting the float and go from there. As always, we can be reached by contact us at petecosupply.com.
🤦 wish I would have searched this before I filled it with 55 gallons of water for a third time.
Que bellos 😇😇❤❤❤❤
Do you have a video of how to clean the lil spring 2700 waterer?
Hi Tina, we will work on one!
cute! 🥰
You have beautiful Chickens. They are cutes..I guess you are going to eat alot of egg😎
🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Love these
We love them too!
They work amazing
We love them too!
Great idea but it looks like it’s going to break after the first day
They are solidly constructed and used repeatedly in environments that do a LOT of mat moving. Think restaurants as well as in barn stalls.
I’ve adjusted mine many times. Every time I think I have it set, I leave , then come back and check it, it’s too full. It’s a pain.
Hi Kenneth, sometimes the issue isn't the float, it's the valve. These two pieces work together however the valve (most likely grey or blue in your waterer) is the piece that actually turns the water off. If your plunger, valve seat or valve itself are worn or full of deposits, you may need to replace the part. High pressure can also be the culprit. Miraco valves are designed to withstand up to 80 PSI so if you're on city water or have a high pressure situation, you may need to place a pressure regulator on the line. New valves can be found by visiting. www.petecosupply.com/online-store/search%3Fkeyword%3D521
What the price
Thank you for the video. I have one but am missing the packaging so I was not sure of the dial settings. I appreciate your time to post this.
How do you think this would work for a very large pig? My boar is 728 lbs and stands about hip high.
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The cup size is quite small, however, it works as an on-demand waterer. It may look quite small in comparison to your boar. If you'd like a something a little larger, a 63 model could be used. www.petecosupply.com/online-store/Trojan%C2%AE-Model-63-Cup-Waterer-with-Gravity-Connector-Kit-p94378890 This unit does not come with a cradle base however.
Pigs r smart enough to hold the button in and drain out water to create a mud puddle.
These look like a great alternative to the $50 drinking cups sold by most feed/farm stores. This year might be the year we add automatic watering cups to our calf-barn.
