As a customer of 14 years, I’m extremely happy to say that my Goodman air-conditioning and furnace system has never broken down. Just recently The only part to go bad is a capacitor. And due to improper installation condensation lines the evaporator pan cracked. But other than that, my unit had never been touched for 14 years by any any service tech I’m extremely happy with Goodman is my first home and my first unit I’ve ever purchased

I've had American Standards and Carriers but I love my Goodmans. Thanks to the assembly workers and engineers for the quality workmanships.

The louvers in the fins greatly harm efficiency. Sure for the first 4 to 6 months it helps but then they hold debris and reduce airflow tremendously. Frequent washing helps but you can't wash the indoor coil without removing it, removing all the freon and taking it outside. Smooth consistant fins with decent spacing is worth the tiny efficiency difference when brand new.

I can’t believe this guy said anybody could do that ladies job right in front of her. Pretty rude. Nice of the manager to defend her right away.

Nice units... You need to make sure the screws putting units together is tight and firm specially on the blower side complete screws and mark inspection is must.. I installed alot of air handlers and furnaces.

For the marketing people at Goodman, paint your production equipment especially the machinery that is shown to the public. A well maintained plant makes for more impressive sales presentation.

MY A/C is 4 ton carrier,the evaporator is made of aluminium now leaking.New five year old.The part is not available in the market.Now I am looking for any made of copper compatible to the model CNPVT4821ALAAAAA.

My goodman evaporator keeps leaking freon. Make the dam copper tube thicker like it use to be. All the manufactures wants to save 75 cents.

I think all their coils are now 100% aluminum.

No you don't, same repetitive thing 8 hours, day in and day out week in week out all around the year. I would have jumped through the closest window after 5 minutes tops.

I didn't notice any oil on the fins or hairpin. Oil is needed on both of these to make them

Those coils were the worst, couldn’t really handle the pressure of 410a especially in the green grass states. The copper tubes were too thin and brittle. The aluminum do much better.

Yeah you’re the most productive factory but yet your equipment is garbage! Evaporator leaks alone on your equipment are the bane of my existence😢 get your shit together and tell your shareholders it’s gonna be a rough year but in 5e long run you will be on top!

Excuse me, but , Why is that obsession to make it dificult to mechanics? The automobile engineer factory is placing those evaporators where you can only reach it by removing the whole dash " That is very unfair , Im going back to old cars, The new ones are paying too much for repairs , it is all in computers giving three and more codes for you to guess , Now here they are talking about new better inventions, To me is crap, more complicated and less reliable . 🕰🛵
