LOL, IT'S A TWO - SDAY NEWSDAY, get it? Two videos newsdays.. in one week? Also.. I actually may be swapping to gloves for VRChat and Social VR this year instead of controllers.. maybe... Anyways, Thank you Patreon Supporters for making this coverage of the XR industry possible. I will be uploading more Japan footage and a few topics I couldn't fit into this video on Patreon this next week. www.patreon.com/Thrillseeker discord.gg/thrill

We're talking about Sony, very low chances. On top of that, it's one more argument to sell PS5s by building an ecosystem. When it comes to unofficial support, it definitely seems possible to do, it's just a matter of time and resources.

I don't know, some doubters here.yes we had trinus but Sony have released a full body tracker product and a lot of exclusives are coming to PC. They might just consider it
I never get tired of your intro. I don't know if you came up with it on your own, but there is alot of layers to it. Seeing and hearing the espresso being made gets you ready, along with the song. Probably some subliminal/pavlov conditioning going on here. TLDR Love your intro, never change it. Unless it's a remaster.

I was also at CES this year and I agree, the Ant Tech demo was by far the most impressive. I did the Magic Leap 2 demo shortly after and the FoV edges were very obvious. Really excited to see where that goes. Something else I really enjoyed was the Ultra Leap touchless haptics. The use case for consumer VR isn’t really there but for automotive and enterprise uses there’s a TON of potential!
Your review of CES has been a highlight of my month.

THANKS AUTUMNCOLORS! This comment was the highlight of mine.
Great coverage, Thrill...I waited for your releases instead of spoiling anything from CES. I always appreciate your candid reviews.
Those AR glasses look unreal - I actually had to do a double take, especially when you mentioned the 120 degree FOV.
Thank you for making these videos. It's been amazing getting into vr and being excited again on different things to get! Thank you so much!
Love the img2img AI image filters. Visually appealing and they fit your awesome video style.
We're all feeling special this week with a tripple dose of Thrill! Thanks for the vid😁
Can't support aside from like and subscribe and continually subjecting my peers to your videos. But I was so excited about this one, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Thank you for the timely, honest impressions. Your enthusiasm is addictive.
Loving all the CES videos. It's been a while since I've been to convention like this. If I can't see things firsthand I appreciate you sharing it all with us. So much tech cool tech.
I really can’t thank you enough for all the work you do to keep the VR industry alive. I absolutely love VR so much as it helps me escape my toxic home life.
I realized on the drive to work today how much I look forward to your videos! Especially the Tuesday Newsday ones! I LOVE your chill coffee intro. It's soothing and relaxing and just so pleasant. I love your high energy Tuesday Newsday exclamation each week, it pumps me up and makes me giggle with excitement all at the same time. Don't even get me starting on the Wonderful Meme Break concept. You are a Rockstar. I love your content, love your honesty in reviews and your overall energy!
your videos somehow manage to get me exited to get into VR every time lol great video! do you think companies like meta or valve will ever implement vr gloves as the main controller type or would it remain a third party option? i love the idea personally, but i don't think everyone would be in to it
The Lynx R1 is also the only headset willing to give us full privacy, no strings attached. That alone makes it more valuable than a Quest 2 or Pico.
I think combining the vr gloves with the flip controller might be the best way to do stuff. You get easy access to controller inputs while still having complete freedom and mobility with your vr gloves.
@Mirality

Imagine glove tracking to a virtual keyboard, then flip to get back to controller inputs.
Great hanging out with both of you there. You two are menaces at the after parties :P
I ‘LOVE TUESDAY NEWSDAY!’ …On Thursday!! Thank you Friend. Love your VR content!
So excited for the Contact CI Maestro, that's fascinating! I've been dreaming of force feedback since VR started being a thing, I'm so glad someone is making it! Hopefully it drops into a more affordable range and for consumers soon
It's crazy how much the accessories and tech are improving for VR. I would totally be on board if things like the gloves became the norm in VR.
Loved the ces coverage, VR and AR is gonna be awesome this year. And can't wait for some proper gloves on the market
The Bhpatics vest already works natively with the OSC in vrchat. No mods required. You just need to put the vest (the correct one) on your models front and back! :D
The Lynx still holds up well with not only proper colour stereo camera passthrough (unlike the quest pro and pico) but also full openXR runtime, privacy and access to the bootloader - basically a headset you aren’t constrained on unlike the big players
Very exciting. Thanks for sharing!
😍 Nice to see we can hold and pinch air with ease.
Thanks for covering more of the Brad 2023 event Thrill!
Great video! Can't wait for some of this stuff!
i didn't get to go to CES so im so thankful for you giving us the rundown :) 🙏
Love the cuts of AI pics between the main footage, really cool effect for your videos!
6:52 liquid crystal light valves have been around for a long time in welding hoods, and they’ve been optimized for super low power draw and near-instant response times. Great to see this tech somewhere other than a massive, bulky hood
Amazing video, a lot to look forward to!
love your content never stop
we are getting closer and closer to making reality of what older shows did, and i really love that
Sounds like CES was a good time. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait for the next video :-)
I would love it the "ready player one" setup was something you did every year or two. Just a collection of everything to make the most Immersive VR experience
two newsdays in a week is the greatest feeling
Yo thrill thanks for talking about the PSVR2 and giving good specs on it, i pre-ordered mine a few days ago and im pretty excited, L ces for not letting you get a demo
To see all of this in our present time, I'm extremely excited to see what is to come for the future of both AR and VR tech. Who knows, maybe we'll see some next level stuff that we can only dream about now in the next 5-10 years!
Im glad to see gloves in production

Hi! Are there no VR Locomotion, Treadmill at all in there? Nice video! Really enjoy the video, and really really interest in vr gloves, touch in vr, simulate the weight, and of course owo suite, it looks really promising.
The diverx gloves look like they could be a really good transition point between controllers and full hand tracking. Future iterations of this would probably have a quicker learning curve or more broadly supported skeletal tracking which is really what we should be moving towards imo
Loving the updates!

Look how close they had to hold the transmitters to the gloves as you used them. The entire time you used them they had to pass the transmitter between the 2 of them so it was constantly in the right position. They are a cool piece of tech but very clearly a long way off from being feasible. Love your content!
Hopefully this year we will see insane developments
Hoping to hear Phia's thoughts on CES soon too 🙏 I love hearing multiple perspectives

thanks for the information :)
I've been considering building my own HMD HUD thing for a while - I think it would be nice to get notifications at the corner of my eye, pull up a video, or whatever - so I can keep myself connected while doing whatever. Seeing how good that ant reality display is, I might hold off!
The gloves that hold your fingers back are insane
You content is awesome
I’m so tempted to start diving into getting updated VR stuff, my Vive Pro is nice but wow I need an upgrade for it. It gets so hot in that thing, plus one of my base stations broke? Yeah, XR Elite looking _real_ nice right now. I think I may wait one more year though. The rate we’re going seems really fast. When I got the Vive Pro it was the most advanced thing out there.
ANOTHER VIDEO?!??! THIS IS AMAZING
Man gotta respect all the people who are brining these VR devices to us consumers its crazy how close yet so far away we are for a ready player one / Sword art online type of VR experience
Just can’t stop thinking about this in a vr escape room
Yay for more Japan videos! Pity you didn’t get to try out PSVR2 again
As a 3D modeler looking forward to using vr/ar tools for work, I'm really excited for stuff like a flip up mechanism as the lynx has or something like the mix vr/ar from ant-reality, that would allow smoothly switching between vr and normal. Because one of the downs especially for using vr work related, I can't quickly give my eyes a rest by looking into the distance, or take a look at the physical whiteboard in the office.
I am so excited for AR to be good. I can't wait!

I was just looking for the second video to check if you had released it yet. Turns out it came out 3 seconds ago
pretty cool, I'll just wait for version 2 if ever version 1 gets released anytime soon.
I love Tuesday news day
The first thing I think of before watching this video is how your hands get sweaty. If vr takes the glove path, hopefully they find a way to have a type of open glove that only covers your key parts of your hand so it can breathe
2 back to back?!? This is a good week to br alive
really excited for those yellow bhaptic gloves and those maestro gloves from contact ci they both look really comfortable i hope there will be a way to like use them with the quest 2 standalone or something because my computer is far too weak for that
Gloves for hand tracking would be awesome to improve the capabilities in terms of dancing in VR. Hopefully eventually I can get some sort of pair for finger tracking. I don't even need any sense of touch. Just the tracking
VR gloves really excite me, together with haptic feedback this could be a game changer if given to consumers
Tanks amazing job
Finally, *real* AR in sight. May actually see it before I die lol
