A huge fan of both Charlotte and Valegro!!

I’ve watched his videos a ridiculous amount of times and everytime just gives me goosebumps 🙌🏼 and her music selection has always been just perfect 👌🏼

What a horse. Absolute perfection

Valegro’s performances were as a result of correct and sympathetic training unlike poor Totilas who was more akin to a circus act. Totilas had a terrible extended trot in comparison and little movement in the hind legs .

Thanks for posting...I saw him Retire at Olympia...it was so emotional...will miss him 😍

Cathryn Bennett Hey. Sorry for the confusion. This was filmed at the KWPN stallion show. Definitely a bummer he isn't a stallion. Would have had some impressive offspring.

He failed his stallion testing., bet those judges feel pretty stupid now. The "in" thing was the so called modern type, leaner with long, thin legs. Valegro is a big boned powerhouse.

Amanda Ripley I heard that he was too unruly in the ring to be kept entire. His hormones overran Adrenalin to perform and therefore to creat the horse he is today, had to be gelded 😢

Normally when high value stallions get cut, they take will take an amount of the stallion's semen first and freeze it like they do with humans so that later there may be a legacy, honestly this only makes it more valueable because of the limited supply.

Horses makes Us stay in contact with the Divine/The Gods..

They should have done a routine to Donna Summer's song "Last Dance".

Valegro was bred in Holland sired by Negro a Prolific Dutch Warmblood , Valegro was taken to a stallion licensing show in Holland as a 2½-year-old Colt. Where he failed to make the Grade, and he was Gelded. Carl Hester purchased him for £4,0000 which as it turned out was a real bargain. I hope this clears up why Valegro was Gelded .

Wow I never noticed how badly he swings his hind legs out in the piaffe...

It's so cute though, Valegro is such an amateur-looking horse compared to phenomenons like Totilas and his sons. But because everything he does is so consistent and correct, nobody cares. His movement is not extravagant in any way, it's just very correct. And achieves world records. He is such a cute little horse compared to the big KWPN Dressage Stallions though.
