Even though Red Hat and CentOS came together in 2014, CentOS project continued. Through this project RHEL was made available as a free version. Red Hat continued to support it. Then IBM bought Red Hat In 2019. In 2020 Red Hat effectively stops CentOS project. Is the pressure from IBM working? The spirit of community and collaboration giving way to prioritizing bottomline?
