As per central bank RBI in India, in the last five years, there were 21 lakh cases reported to Cyber Crime Cell, and resultant loss of INR 5,547 crore.
This translates to near to 800 fraud cases a day. According to bankers, there are various kinds of frauds like Malware, Phishing attacks, Victims are conned to voluntary transfer money or their ID, passwords, OTP are stolen.
