Jeremy Smith, you are absolutely right. Ana waists too much time talking BS and deviates into non related and often inane silliness. Personally I can't afford to waist the time. I want to get on with learning. The other problem I have is, Ana tends to explain even the most basic things like we were dumb dills. And that irritates...

I like that she talks about these things at length. I think it helps a beginner learn more thoroughly. I also like that she speaks little phrases in Spanish so I can understand more.

Ana....I've never paid closer attention to a teacher, I'm a native English speaker. I watched this video a few months ago but today it's sinking in much more clearly. I understand now more (or why) of Spanish speakers accent when they speak English. It's funny around 5:17 you said "letsos" (or letso) instead of "lets"....and why do you have that accent...because that's the way most "nosotros" verbs are conjugated. also sometimes the order of your English words are spoken as they would be in Spanish. Fascinating. ...absolutely fascinating. Thank you for making this. I've been learning Spanish for about 6 months. I have dreams in Spanish.

I've used my Spanish in Costa Rico, Guatemala & the Galapagos Islands. People understood me & I understood them. That said, there's lots of room for improvement. So far, your classes are helping me a lot. Thanks.

I liked your teaching, but you are politically motivated. Trump meant that Mexico sends their worst members of society to U.S not their best like you and many other highly educated Mexicans. When a specific country’s borders are widely open, it tends to attract the worst individual from its neighboring countries regardless of nationality. I advise you to stay away from politics and stop insulting our president especially that most of your audience is from U.S.A. How would you feel if I insulted your Mexican President?

To me she sounds like other leftist teachers in our school system. Ana as a teacher, should stay away from politics and religion. It seems that they don’t teach them the concept of neutrality in their teaching programs!!!

Your intro at the beginning is 100% accurate, it’s been a long time since I was in school and when some teacher start mentioning nouns, adjectives etc I had to look them all up. This video makes it a lot easier. ¡Gracias!

I’m glad you tell us the adjective and adverb story because I’m old school and was taught adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs. Soooo easy to relate

Thank you, this makes way more sense. I'm an english grammar nerd and knowing these rules helps me understand the rules for spanish. The hardest part I've encountered with learning is constructing my own sentences that are gramatically correct.

Hi Anna,you're so good in explaining,BUT You don't have to explain the Function of the Verbs ,adjectives...... Because These Things are all Same in all languages.The Structure of the sentences might be different.I suggest that You explain the " sentence structure" in Spanish.I appreciate your understanding and thanks for your effort.

Right on! I've been watching many of these videos and Ana is terrific, but when I came upon this lesson with it's Trump observation I finally felt compelled to donate!!
