It was kind of jarring not seeing a Mclaren on one of your videos ha ha. I didn't know that about tires though so that's nice to be able to look for now. Thank you.

Seen this happen too many times. Wouldn't go more than 4-5 years old with any tires. Especially performance tires.

Pirelli I'd never go over 3 years, Michelin 5.

rubber continues vulcanizing its entire life. eventually it gets to be closer to plastic than rubber, and loses its elasticity. visible dry rot is a great indicator of needing replacement.
