James saying SING THE SONG BABY SING THE SONG is one of the funniest moments in television history in my opinion.
It’s February 2023 and this performance still hits like grits. Esther Rolle did what she had to do! Also, their performance with Janet Jackson as The Pointless Sisters in the episode ‘The Traveling Christmas’ is just as ICONIC.

If I'm not mistaken, this was John Amos' last episode on screen. I believe his character was killed off in the following episode. I hate that his character was killed off! The show would have been even more interesting had his character been around!

I love this show and I love all the characters. That said, Florida’s wig is hard looking and ugly. It didn’t fit her face at all! But, I loved this performance and it’s one of my favorites.
