@MACK D Though God said make no idols of Him but pray fervently from the heart. For God has pity on a man who is humble and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at His Word. Florida Evans kept her family together with an humble and contrite heart. God knows the heart and many times Florida prayed to God from heart and many times God answered her prayers. The picture just a picture on the wall. Florida Evans is a praying woman. I live in America. And yes I know who God is. God is good, awesome, a wonderful Friend He is. $104 of 1974 is worth $554.84 in 2021. Which still may not seem like much to middle class people, but if you factor in necessities that James ALSO pays for including the electricity, phone bill, as well as food and clothing, it ALL adds up, especially with James being forced to work jobs with minimum wage...

James was making something like $2.50 an hour so that was like a week's pay. Most people pay at least the equivalent of that now. I'll bet most people in the projects paid less than that if they were on welfare. And no one would be evicted for missing a month's rent.
