moonlit is a weird one for me. i don't hate it by any means and have watched every episode but it just doesn't seem to click for me. it was up there in this seasonal lineup with my favourite anime of the season. but unlike isekai like slime, overlord, konosuba and such, i can't seem to remember anything that happens in moonlit. i remember he meets the dragon and mio the spider and he hates the goddess but that's all i recall from S1. i don't know when/where/how he picked up the lich guy or how he even became so powerful. i can recall those other isekai perfectly but not this one for some reason. i do hope this gets a S3 though (if for no other reason than to see that 'hero' get his face kicked in). though i might not remember any of S2 when S3 drops

Sometimes staying in one place and focused on their everyday life works, case example: "I have been killing slimes for 300 years and maxed out my level". Where the story just revolves around Azusa the witch of the hill, spending time chilling with her newfound foster family. The situations they get themselves into are pretty funny which helps a lot with the series. I guess the writer had to be very creative to come up with stories to tell that keep things connected and interesting.

All I know is, Tomoe's face while she and Mio were grilling Shiki sent me to giggle city! Let it be known that Emma is the #1 most FEARED Waifu in this series! 🤣

Well there is some cut content from the wn and manga one during the school arc and the next one during the aftermath of the attacks on the liliam capital wich will probably be adapted next season becaeuse of it's importance moving forward spoilers if you want to know more please expand During school arc he was at another professor's lecture on the basis of magic becaeuse he didn't have a teacher secondly after the attack there were going to be a conversation with a few gods of the origin world Athena,Shiva and sussanoo got to the subspace where they talked about the godess and how she broke alot of laws regarding the promise between mortal and god and how she's under strict watch for summon ing the two others and disregarding the contract she signed with the mc and also talked about how she almost killed him with giving him the full power of mastery of words then there's a fight with athene where she took alot of damge and almost had to fight seriuosly against him also they gave him blessings as so to avoid the godess from finding the subspace and other gifts as wel

I love this season, the cour 1 was funny and enjoyable i love how they build the story and the cour 2 is more action cuz they finished building the story, and the animation is well done good job for J.C Staff

Tsukimchi moonlit fantasy season 2 was decent to good isekai anime for me and i give this 8.55 out 10 rating .

Tsukiyomi told him in season 1, "The goddess has robbed you of your given role as hero, so live as you want."

People say that this season was slow but in fact there were a lot of cuts to rush the season.

Another Isekai that has other issues, but doesn't have the same place issue is Smartphone. It's honestly one of the things I enjoyed about that anime.

The Goddess decided he was not to be a hero and the Moon god told him to live as he pleases. So why do people expect him to be a hero? The Hyumans treated him with disdain. Yet the monster races embraced him as a hero and to some degree as a god because they are not focused on looks and see the character of the person, not to mention his insane strength.

I think Touma would be the only 'hero', because of her loving the culture

This anime season in general has been good. And i can see other animes from this season, getting more seasons as well.

Season 1 = LN volumes 1 to 4 (with some skipping) Season 2 = LN volumes 5 to 10 (with even more skipping) Current Total number of LN volumes = 20 + a special one (volume 8.5) Spoiler warnings . .. ... Season 3 = possibly even more polarizing than the seasons before because there won’t be intense combat moments (except LN 12) and there is even more building.

The good - they expanded the anime from 12 to 25 eps. Added more details to the story. The tonal shift in character, I liked that. The bad - The overall tone of the anime is 'safe' like PG or something. In a world ruled by the goddess, there should've been over emphasis on MC's 'ugliness' every-time he encounters hyumans. Were there any sex jokes in the anime coz there were in the manga? The story of the hero's fanservice outfit and how it ties to the goddess beauty standard/power-up. The brothels, sex workers, the concept of 3rd, 4th, 5th wives which were briefly mentioned or skipped. There's plenty of things to criticize. Overall, looking forward to season 3.

Maybe we can call mc a hero from a wider perspective. He opposes selfish goddess, and can save the world actually. He can be called a hero from pov of his dimension’s citizens. But not he himself, not goddess and not humans see him as a hero. But you can see how Tomoki is a hero in title and humans pov, but his actions more suited for a villain. Opposite to mc, who has no title or humans belief, but his actions of a hero. I think this is a part of idea of Moonlit Fantasy. Heroes fight in a war that they know nothing about, and effectively despite (not so)good intentions they can be called a villains, for fighting a war that meant to wipe out demons race. And here Not Hero, trying to establish connections and mutual benefits between races for his own (selfish or not)purposes, which leads to trade, negotiations and peace(maybe). This non heroic intention making mc a true hero. Simpler: Titles or their absence don’t change who you are and almost don’t influence an outcome.

That’s the problem with slime. Location 😊

Well the LN or WN the 3rd Arc of Tsukimichi is much longer than 2 Arc(what the season 2 covered) so it will have more squeezing there and i still upset that they made Magic Armor into Jelly or Slime like appearance than more solid look like what the illustration in LN

There was no talking during the fights as far as I can recall. It was all just monologue in their own head, analyzing their situation.

tsukimichi did something nobody did, actually making the not wanting to be hero actually not becoming a hero. Other manga i read as they didn't wanna be a hero. but in the end, they become a hero. other manga cannot reach that type of writing level. i love this manga so much i got bored watching reading other mangas.

Wrong he is a hero to citizens of the demiplanes and a handful of Hyumans.

Great second season I’m not very action heavy when it comes to the anime I watch, the reason why I can’t watch a lot of new age shit. Fights are cool but not every episode I like my politics and my world building and this season had it for me very happy from start to finish

@Espiritu__Analysis You gain subs for sure by distancing yourself from the more sexual kind of uploads in your past. A cleanup could clean your reputation in the eyes of the people and the algorythm, the latter being known for responding kindly to this. Your harem anime coverage dosesnt even have to be gone, it just needs to be put into privatemode: a youtube function. It’s a pretty normal practice, a friend for example once made something that is merely a microfone test but kept it as a memoire and insidergag
