Kazuma's STEAL failure against Destroyer's ribbon wasn't because of a luck debuff, but rather because he tried to use an instant-win skill against a boss character. Bosses in RPGs (especially JRPGs) are usually immune to OHKO skills, and will very nearly always make a successful saving throw against all "make a successful ____ save or automatically lose" abilities. This is also why Kazuma was able to use STEAL against Destroyer's screw, crippling it. Since it wasn't used as a "make a saving throw or automatically lose" attack, Destroyer had to make a (agility?) save against Kazuma's luck stat -- which, because of Kazuma's luck stat, would be like an isekai protagonist trying to make a strength/fortitude save against Truck-kun.

yes and no. Yes she probably can unleash magic comparable to 9th/10th tier but the 9th tier spell Nuclear Blast isn't even comparable to an actual nuke, nor to the explosions Tanya has already been able to demonstrate, when Ainz uses Nuclear Blast in volume 13 he uses it with Widen Magic, yet it only destroys a single city district. This was stated while Neia and the paladins watched from the city wall, yet we don''t know if that alone destroyed the city district because he also used Shark cyclone within the city, as well as other spells plus whatever the maids and the Lord of Wrath used.

The whole Vampire disintegrates under the sun thing was pretty much a Hollywood invention in there lore. Even in the original Bram Stroker Novel of Dracula, in open Sun light the count was only weaker but still powerful in daylight and doesn't die under it.

While i would love to see No Game No Life, the anime would need to "change the rules" to fit them and the gimmick of the "Games". ALTHOUGH that could be easily fixed if something could be established like Tet became the new principal of the school because the principal was drunk and yelled "anyone that can beat me in a game of cards can become the principal", and Tet thought the school needed a better principal so, he came in, and.. basically kept rules mostly the same, but added the "reality warping games of no game no life" and the "non-violenece rules" to the school. which would fit well the rest of the world

@@ade5861 i would love to see them becoming besties. and rem is with them. with albedo always inviting her and jibirl being semi-dismissive. but rem still liking jibril if anything because jibril's devotion to sora and shiro would be similar to the one rem feels towards subaru (mostly) and then ram and then emilia. although maybe later let jibirl say "i like this girl" after seeing rem's oni mode going wild on some activitiy like chpping wood or catching wild mabeasts that appeared in the isekai quartet world (which, thanks to the rules wouldn't kill anyone or die but they would end up badly beaten up like in cartoons)

To add to Tanya's favor of the shovel, in the second book in the light novel series, Tanya goes into depth on how she thinks that "shovels are the quintessence of civilization." To put the *four paragraphs* that I could've quoted from the book short, Tanya loves how it can dig, slice, and do pretty much anything in close combat without having to use magic. (and yes, I got that line about shovels straight from the second book)

I don't remember Rainheart's OP blessings are mentioned in Re:Zero season 1 (so it's possibly a spoiler). I believe the reason Shallchair was not having fun on the beach is because of not being comfortable with her flat chest.

Not yet, he will get a showcase of his perks in the future arcs of Rezero. Time abilities and space manipulation doesnt work on him except for "RbD" and "Sand Time". Lets just say he fought against a guy that has an op ability. To summarize, Regulus' ability can be explained by comparing it to stands (jojo). His ability includes timestop (Za waardo) and space deletion (Za hando) in a limited area around himself. A projectile or magic cast against him will be completely nullified by destroying the space and stopping time of that projectile or magic. It is automatic btw. He is immune to physics, magic, mind manipulation, space manipulation and other external forces. He is also immortal, he dont age, he doesnt feel hunger or thirst. Regulus could also stop time to materials around him then releasing them in insane speeds, this includes dust and gravel or even air. One particle of dust could completely dismember a person's limbs. He is basically Accelerator on steroids. If an object tried to hit him, that object would be split in half with its other half being deleted no matter the material, this includes humans and animals. Reinhard was able to toss Regulus around and beat him with his barehands without getting injured.

Sadly for Reinhart, he would lose to Ainz the same way Gazef did, since he doesn't have any defense against time and instant death spells. Yes, he will revive once but then Ainz could just use the spell one more time. I don't think the Time Stop x True Death combo can miss but if it could then he would just have to use it two more times.

Reinhart can just keep wishing for his Phoenix blessing and at that point he can just wish for immunity to time stop, and I think he would be immune to time stop

reinhard can still wish his phoenix blessing, besides that he absorbs 80% of all types of magic, I'm more than sure he could move during the time stop, and if he wishes he can create and wish more divine protections as required, so you are not going to defeat him, and if you somehow manage to do it and eliminate him, the od lagoon itself, would look for a way to restore him, be it its body, its soul, etc etc etc

one of his blessings not mentioned is that no magic what so ever affects him, however he is also unable to do magic, or gain buffs from magic (like he needs to) so if time is stopped magically, he wouldn't be affected and basically anything that Ainz tries to throw at him is useless, even if he goes melee, Reinhardt is still 100% likely to dodge the first attack, and every attack proceeding the first attack.

@@Fyttiana TIME STOP and TRUE DEATH is not magic but rather a skill that is provided to Ainz due his levels in OVERLORD and ECLIPSE class, and these 2 spells aren't even his strongest his strongest spell is CRY OF BANSHEE which gives him the ability to grant death to anyone irrespective of their statuses and the reason why Reinhart will never be immune to it is because of Ainz another skill GOAL OF ALL LIFE IS DEATH(which was granted to him due to his levels in ECLIPSE class) which buffs any of his instant death spells so they could penetrate his target past any immunities or buffs. So even if Reinhard got some kind of immuntity(any kind of immunity) due to his BLESSING OF PHOENIX Ainz spell would still affect him due to buff provided by GOAL OF ALL LIFE IS DEATH skill. As for Reinhard it is a common knowledge in RE-ZERO universe that in order to be immune to be some kind of magic or physical attack they first need to know the name of the attack or spell circle through which magic is chanelling. Sadly, Ainz also has counter for that his most spells don't have any magic circles they mostly consists of hand gestures or an aura of magic. Even his SWORD SAINT abilities would be considered DECENT as best in OVERLORD universe as it was rather a common warrior class in YGGDRASIL even COCYTUS is a max level in SWORD SAINT class he has levels in classes that are even stronger than SWORD SAINT.

No buffs or debuffs work eh? But can Ainz's "The goal of all life is death" work on Reinhard?

I do also love that the floor guardians, while being ainz' "children", they're still more competent than him in their specialties and most of the time, ainz looks like he's just stumbling his way forward. Yes, he's very careful, but the amount of improv acting he has to do is what really compels me to keep reading

I think something worth pointing out was just how resilient Subaru's mental state is. He's gone through so much trauma that facing 8th tier magic barely phases him. I really want our boy to get more recognition after all he's been through

I've never watched Youjo Senki, so watching 10:30 instantly reminded me of the Kreig Death Corps like the big Warhammer 40k nerd I am and how they love entrenching themselves so much that they essentially treated the shovel, along with a bayonet, one of their most important tools and weapons.

6:57 so that means the overlord anime exists in the overlord universe since you can see a poster for it in youjo senki when tanya gets reincarnated

I feel like everyones power level was either nerfed or buffed when they entered isekai quartet to put them on a more equal playing field.

I know that I am late, but I want to point out that Reinhard doesn't have resistance for instant death (not shown on list at 8:24) magic so Ainz should be able to cast 1 spell and wait for Reinhard to ressurect due to blessing of the Phoenix and just cast another instant death spell to kill him.

But Reinhard could just spam that same blessing until Ainz's mana dried out. Or is it that Ainz insta kill deaths also have perma-deaths? But regardless of that, If they just fought with no prep time, Reinhard wins hard. If Reid was accessable, he could go bananas and easily breaks the sound barrier without much effort. Ainz is strong when he plans things out before it happens. If he was surprised like how Aqua cast that "turn undead", he'll die against a full powered Reinhard with Reid Sword. If they were both given prep time, Ainz wins since he have those op World Items.

I watched IQ before Overlord, but now Overlord is one my most favorite anime of all time.

I think that list of Reinhart's powers is missing his ability to have any blessings he wishes. Which pretty much means he can have the blessings of the phoenix more than once, theoretically an infinite amount of times.

@@MiyukiiYT I know it's suicide bombing Reinhardt. But, in the new world ( the world Ainz got isekai'd ) there is an entity (Its a little spoiler but its name Elder Coffin Dragon Lord or ECDL) that is capable of the same thing Longinus is capable of but in a form of a breath attack which doesn't kill the user, the attack was so powerful that it killed like 5 lvl 90 goats that Ains summons with his super tier magic he used in the end of season 3.

12:37 I just realised Julius used spirit magic while literally touching Reinhardt. According to the novels thats supposed to be impossible o.O

To be fair I think that's something that's kinda ignored by Tappei despite stating it considering in Arc V Emilia uses magic while Reinhard's in the general vicinity (within 500 metres), so yeah on paper it's supposed to work that way but that particular ability is easily forgotten/forgoed in order to provide a decent battle than follow it and write yourself into a corner that makes the story stray from what you wanted to plan out for it initially. At that point it's nitpicking on unintentional bad storytelling I suppose.

Well, Reinhartds blessings can be overpowered by authorities, which i would interpret in Ygdrasil terms that his blessing cant stop the effect of a world item.

Satella is on another whole level let us say she is at tier 15. She can't be affected by the WCI nor super tier spells. Yeah reinhardt doesnt use magic but with his blessings he can go toe to toe with strong foes that are more than or equal the tier i assumed.

@Ralphotron32 That's a No Limits Fallacy. When has he ever resisted existence erasure in canon? You cannot just claim he can make a blessing to counter a WCI without proof except your baseless claims, especially since it's already been stated that authorities are superior to blessings, and a WCI is about as powerful as an authority.

ALSO, jibril probably droling at seeing so much new stuff. ALSO, i would lvoe to see fii and emilia interact. i mean, have a contrast between elves.

@@ianr.navahuber2195 To be fair considering the rules they have to follow in the world (no - blatant - fighting, etc.) Albedo and Shalltear were obviously fooling around and not particularly serious with that, meaning they weren't putting their full force into it, resulting in Rem being able to restrain them as their normal tomfoolery in strength is probably equivalent to being somewhat above a normal human's levels, which should generally be right in line with Rem's oni strength.

I love how they remember every canon talent of each character.

Season 2 naofumi also wondered if he was in the waves and immediately thought about raphtalia and filo referencing when he was sent to the other world beyond the waves

An easter egg at 8:00 Chris was giving yuri alpha the stink eye, she might have suspected that she is a dullahan

I´m pretty sure that the reason why Shalltear stays away from the sun and isn´t wearing a swimsuit isn´t because she is a vampire but rather because everyone would discover that she pads her chest if she would´ve decided to use a swimsuit like the other girls. This being the case is also most likely hinted with the scene when she clearly gets jealous of Rem´s chest.
