Both women can hold their notes effortlessly. Those two songs, while different, showcase the strengths of both women. They are fantastic.

So many of their less popular songs were so good. They deserved more credit at the time.

'Lovers' is quite soulful as you said.Slow paced soul-funk.Frida's performance on the lead is magnetic.Agnetha's lead on Kisses of fire is also stunning especially the intro.

ABBA'S costume designer was Karl owe sandstrom, the costumes were tax deductible the more elaborate the costumes were the better in Sweden at that time

Great to see Frieda & Agnetha look so relaxed in a performance.

Frida was so sexy and sultry on Lovers! That voice!

ABBA's designer is Owe Sandström. But Frida had a lot of influence too, as she is very interested in fashion. (She was planning a career in fashion, but then ABBA happened). It was Frida's idea to create a unity of stage decoration, clothes and accessories for the 1979 world tour.

congratulations for choosing the video of the Swiss performance in February 1979 with the two songs ABBA did there a TV special, with guest artists (I think Kate Bush and Roxy Music among them), on the occasion of the International Year of the Child and in favor of UNICEF. ABBA in this special premiered several songs of their future album "Voulez Vous", among them these two songs. More than in the songs, I'm going to pay attention to Frida and Agnetha. the corporal attitude that the girls put to the already recorded in the studio is spectacular, and in this case it is very important, since both are sexy and seductive, more in the second song with the explosive interventions of Agnetha (I would risk to say that she seems almost wild, less than two months after her separation from Björn). I grew up listening to ABBA's music. I lived in Cuba by then. Now I'm 62 and have all their songs. Even the recent album Voyage.

😂 you’re reactions are priceless! I think you express what us longtime ABBA fanatics feel inside each time we hear anything ABBA. I love bothe of these songs which close out the Voulez-Vous album. I love how Frida has captured you and I relate as a longtime fan who has always been enamored with Frida’s beauty, stage presence and charisma. I have always enjoyed watching her obvious love of being on stage. I think you should check out a Frida solo song/video she did called “I Know There’s Something Going On”, a bit different from the ABBA material, but, you might appreciate a different side of Frida. But, please continue the ABBA journey though, it will continue to reward you.

You need to make a point to travel to Stockholm to see the official ABBA Museum, where they showcase all their trademark designs, including the cat outfits. Then go to London to see the ABBA Voyage concert where you can see them in their 70s glory, especially Frida!

Frida is a Mezzo -Soprano ..Agnetha is a Soprano....Fridas voice is like a Tiger purring

Both great songs! Probably not as popular as they should be. Frida will always be my favorite, but I must say how very lovely Agnetha looks here. You can learn to say her whole name: Anne-yet-uh. She went by Anna sometimes to help the non-Scandanavians but not ever in her own life.

My brother Paul took me to see ABBA in 1972, he did not want to go but we up front and he has been a Frida fan ever since he said he just was a convert from then on.

did a remix to this track (Landslide of Emotion) about a year ago. This is one of my favorite ABBA tracks, amazing writing! I remember hearing this song for the first time at christmas of 1980 at my grandma's house. my uncle (only 4 years older than me) got the Voulez-Vous 8-Track. That album literally set me on my path of my love for Dance music.

I grew up with ABBA. Great music, great times, 70s.👌❤️🙏🌷
