The choreography with the right hand spinning, replicates the 'dialing' of the numbers (before phones had buttons, they had a disk ☎️ with the digits around it. You had to turn the disk to dial each digit...)

At one time Agnetha won best bottom in Europe. 1976 I think.

🙂ABBA entered Sweden's music festival "Melodifestivalen", with Ring Ring, but they had to sing it in Swedish (Bara Du Slog En Signal), they lost and came in only at 3rd place, so they couldn't go on to represent Sweden at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest. They recorded a version in Spanish too. Their English version was their first big English-language hit in all the Scandinavian territories. This is also the title track of their début album as a foursome.

Hey I just had to say I just found out something interesting about Frida. She took fashion design classes in Stockholm and was an accomplished seamstress. She designed the snake outfit! She also designed the blue and gold cat dresses She and Agnetha often wore. She also designed the Waterloo outfits. No end to her talents!
