It really could be just a bromance, they are celestial beings after all, and I love some of my friends very deeply, but there's a difference between the different types of love (I usually use the Greek language as reference of love descriptions) and I love my husband just that bit differently.

I heard from another interview that S1 was mostly accurate to the parts Terry Pratchett wrote for the book and the parts that were cut out likely due to it being long and they had to *fit the story in 6 episodes were Neil Gaiman's parts (the one who decided this was Gaiman himself so I've heard). So I'd like to think of this as S1 being the child that took after Pratchett and S2 being the child that took after Gaiman.

David & Michael fell so easily into the roles of Crowley & Aziraphale. They are so natural in those roles it’s as if they are wearing their own skins.

I am so reassured and glad that Rob has given it the STP stamp of approval. It's important to me that there is Terry's influence still there.

THANK YOU for mentioning the late Sir Terry Pratchett right at the beginning. What a fantastic writer, I wish I could have met him while he was still alive! But you know what they say -- _“Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?”_ *- Terry Pratchett*

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. season 1 is like an actual series but season 2 feels like a fanfic, like those really long and well made fanfictions but still fanfiction that isn't a professional thing, some people might not like it, i did, i have some mix thoughts but i don't care, I loved the fanfiction feel to it i never seen a piece of media making a show having that specific fanfiction feeling without making it a bad piece of media 😭❤️

Definitely what it felt like to me too. Season 1 was the adaptation of Good Omens. Season 2 was the fanfic based on the adaptation of Good Omens. Outside of a couple of episodes of Supernatural, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it.

@@godfrey_approves The reason I ask is because there are several scenes in there with one or more characters in period costume. So it looks like viewers will see the characters in other time periods somehow, whether that's through time travel, flashbacks, dream/hypothetical sequences, or other narrative devices.

Just finished watching Good Omens 2 today. I thoroughly enjoyed it. David and Michael as usual are just brilliant together.

It still blows my mind that Aziraphale was also Aro from Twilight.

After watching the season, I absolutely adore how everyone true to give oitle sneak peeks into the plot without giving it away too much. And they were absolutely on point, but I couldn't even imagine how it all would develop😁 Loge this show and EVERYONE involved in creating it❤

It must be such an experinence to be an author and suddenly see your characters in the perfect actors.

Don't mind me. I'm just waiting for season 3 so I can get rid of the angst.

I binge-watched it the moment it came out (01:00 hrs July 28 2023). Against enormous internal pressures to tell just a few of the Wonderful Things within, I refuse! OK, OK. Just one thing. The last 4 or 5 mins are a cliffhanger setup for ... Series 3! Be amused, be amazed, be delighted. Thank you Neil, and team - and the Overseeing Sprit of Terry. Sorely missed, yet always with us in comfort.

I too am experiencing my first fandom at later age and loving it! The word didn't even exist, I don't think, when I was young, or I was too square to know it, anyway. It's lots of fun. There's too much love in and around this show not to be obsessed with it.
