Wow that’s so cool that Stride sings this! It gives him so much more of a character, I think that’s awesome! And this song fits him way more than Lucy.

Of course, Linda Eder's rendition is beautiful, but this version got more beat like at 2 : 28. Thank you for all the video you have upluaud of this version of this great musical ! Sorry for my awful english.

i don't know why they made this lucy's song, it feels like an extremely lazy cut. lucy's girls of the night and no or knows who i am were perfect, along with her someone like you and a new life solos. this good and evil song seems way more like the villain song- it makes more sense for stride to sing it in his bitchy voice, this is how he sees the world and it is with such bitterness he says this, it's just dark..

Bring on the men was such a better number xx should never have been taken out x

Yes, I do know who: Christopher Carothers as Simon Stride Lisa's upright gentleman former suitor who secretly owns The Dregs Burlesque and Brothel where Lucy lives and works.

@@jimsedgwick8652 in the 1990 Alley Theatre world premiere of Jekyll and Hyde, Stride sung this song in Act 2 to the brothel girls after he counted their night's earnings. After he sings this song, they sing Girls of The Night and Lucy sings No One Knows Who I Am.

@@jimsedgwick8652 the vast majority of the info I have, I and others have put onto the Jekyll and Hyde musical wiki, which I created many years ago. Another good resource is my Jekyll and Hyde The Completist's Script, which took me 4 years to compile from all of the shows, going back to the 1986 University of Southern California staging. My script takes all scripts from 1986 through 2011, and merges them into one 5 hour, 93 song show.
