one of the fanaccounts i follow on twitter mentioned something about management, so maybe c9 lacking staff would explain no comeback? another theory i had was that they were simply saving resources for w1’s jinyoung coming back next year but idk how plausible that is since idk much about the company. their instagram is dead which is weird considering the girl’s would presumably be able to post on it but i’m holding hope for something next year since good day hasn’t been taken off their artists list yet! and that’s something at least lol

Update 2021: J9 Entertainment confirmed that Ye Ah and Sunn will leave Cignature. According to J9 Entertainment, “While making comeback preparations for March, Ye Ah and Sunn revealed that they did not want to be a part of the group anymore. We have come to an agreement with the members and their parents and have decided to terminate their contracts without any conditions” The 2 new members are Do Hee and Chloe will replaced Ye Ah and Sunn Updated 2020: C9 Entertainment confirmed that GOOD DAY is disbanding and they will make a new girlgroup debut and it’s called CIGNATURE aka C9 GIRLZ and it has 7 members. The members are Chaesol, Jeewon, Yeah, Sunn, Seline, Belle and Semi. cignature did better (not in my opinion) judging by the views, followers an nominees than REDSQUARE. I think it's because cignature is still under the same company, there are more former members in cignature than in REDSQUARE and the former members in cignature are more popular

They let them go quiet after debut, put them on The Unit, then nearly 2 years later, announces the debut of a new group with half of the members from this group. So what happened? This girl group had me in a chokehold i would listen to their songs almost every day ~ even though they only had one mini album i was hooked on every track :) rooting for the girls and hoping for the best in their groups and careers!

I feel like at this point if they comeback they wouldn’t get any attention unless they promote them really well which is highly unlikely 😭 so sad they really had potential if they kept working on promoting them from the start but it’s so hard now. What’s up with companies debuting groups and then not giving them any work like they have to do nothing with them i’m so mad!! They probably let them go on the unit bc they knew they had nothing planned for them, however it’s unfortunate that non of them made it to the debut lineup.
