this was my 2nd Fifa ever, used to play for ps2 the main menu design and the songs were just on another level seriously... it was just too beautiful that game, sometimes I would even leave the controller and let that amazing soundtrack play on the main menu 😊 Also have countless stories about this game specially on the manager mode good times 😢

Timeless. We may never get these types of FIFA games again. Even the name has changed. The era has changed. A lot of football is the same but a lot has clearly changed. This was just a different time altogether. The amount of players that could easily have a Ballon d’or every year, the music, the style kits, the rivalries before they died down a bit. A great chapter in world football.

This was my first fifa and I played on my dad’s old ps3 in 2020. This song just brought me a memory of this song playing in the background while I was doing something else

Edit: by, “doing something else”, I meant by this one oddly specific memory from around maybe early 2021 when I was literally doing some random other thing because for some reason I was scared of how dark and bland the menu was and my grandma was home but I do not think my mom or dad were because they had work and I think my older sister was at school, but my little sister was there and I think we had break that week, and I was kinda scared so I ran were my grandma was. Yes, this is very long, but I felt I had to explain. Kind of another side topic, I was probably around 9 years old as I think it was early 2021 and I had turned 9 in December 2020, and I am now 12 and I will turn 13 this year, so that is kinda cool.

Played this for the PS2 when I was 9, time flies mam.

I feel like my memory of this song is gone, but the song is still in my memory

The only era of enjoyable online video games with strangers (in my opinion) I had a lot of real life friends on 360, but even when playing without them, it was so much fun.
