I loved the pace of this game. It's far more appealing to watch than teams passing the ball around for 30 seconds only to jack up a contested midrange.

The Penny Hardaway "meltdown" press conference was clearly a moment where this team turned around in a positive way. Was happy to see Emoni Bates contribute in this game. The Allen Iverson "talking about practice" press conference will probably always be the most abusive miscarriage of justice by the press in regards to basketball in the United States but maybe I should watch a full video of that Penny Hardaway presser to find out what he really said.

Well he is preseason national player of the year for a reason. He scored 37 against texas b/c they didn't bring a double team every time. He had a game against tarleton state of all teams where i think he could only take 4 shots. It was 5 point game late in 2nd half b/c they dared everyone to take 3's. That game they put 2 guys on him every time in the post before he could even catch the ball. Every team should do the same and just leave ZAGS shooter wide open 3's all night and pray they missed. Strawther was 0-6 tonight against memphis!

Timme plays low post with Chet "Mr. Three" Holgrem. Clark & Holgrem can shoot the lights out, but nobody in the women's game has low post moves like Monika Czinano. For sure, nobody in the world, except Cznano, has moves in the low post like Timme. They can spin to win. They both are good at getting the ball, making a move & shooting. They both can shoot with either hand. They never seem to be off balance. They are both undersized for the 21st Century low post. Can you imagine going to "basketball camp" as a 16-year-old kid and learning low-post moves from Monika Ciznanao or the Zag's Timme? I'd speak to the devil over a deal like that. I'm not saying I'm making any promises. I'd just "Bill Barr" my way to two weeks in camp.

If Holmgren wants to be an NBA threat I'd advise someone on his team to let him study Andrei Kirilenko. AK is one the most underrated players of the 2000 excellent defense great shot blocker and can make open shots when given time Chet's got the ball handling skills as did Andrei. The Kevin Durant comparisons need to stop while he does have some qualities he doesn't have the same instincts to be that great of a score and it'd be foolish to think he can match that kind of scoring if you could be Andrei Kirilenko his career would be a success he's a little taller too so that might help.

They were afforded those opportunities because the obvious plan from either the NCAA/CBS/ needed the Zags to win. Timmie set atleast 5 illegal screens during the game to open the floor for open 3s., Additionally, the center landed on Duren after a pump fake in the first half. It was hard to watch, and I wish that those uneven interpretations of fouls could be fixed. Just call the game straight up, and may the best team win.
