Purdue fan here. What I liked about this game...is that Purdue & Gonzaga both have great coaches & they are programs that succeed every yr doing things the RIGHT way ! They are both great for College Basketball !

Zags had a good season. From bubble team to the Sweet 16. Beating UCLA, USC, Kentucky and Kansas!!! Thanks Anton! Also beating Syracuse, Yale and St Marys!

I really hope the best for Anton he deserves a pick this draft. He is in my opinion the best defender in college basketball as a foward and you can really see his work ethic and his growth through out the years. He definitely can grow even more too.

Purdue Fan Here- I only root against Gonzaga when they play us! Such a likable team, and Coach Few is extraordinary! Purdue beat a Gonzaga team that I thought played as well as they could against us. Ike did a great job on Edey until Ike ticked Edey off. He said something to Edey, and Edey said, “Shot, I gotta show ya.” But great game! Congratulations on a great season Gonzaga! 🏀

If we were going to lose, at least it’s to Painter. When we’re not playing Purdue, I’ll root for him every time. Great to see coaches who do things the right way. Hope y’all go all the way.

I''m a fan of both teams but feel badly for Gonzaga, a team I've followed since high school in Alberta, Canada, with a Canadian player, Ryan Nembhard. But Purdue has an excellent Canadian player in Zach Edey and the team may go to the final four.

Nemhard is an insanely talented player. Could test the draft waters this year for sure. If he comes back, Gonzaga will be a PROBLEM next year. Wish the Zags all the success next season. Hell of a season.

Another great run for Gonzaga Bulldogs. Hoping they would shock the world with another final four run, but not to be tonight. Really ran into a quality Purdue team that played very well. For all the Edey hype, I thought it was Purdues' guard play that killed that Zags tonight. Edey got his in the end, but I thought that was a reflection of outside shooting, and Zags inability to play meaningful perimeter defense. I'll be very interested in Gonzaga's roster next season. On paper it's just Watson who graduates, but in the brave new world of NIL, who knows.

Players very classy dealing with a lot of questions pulling for discussion of Purdue, not about Zags great season- yet they handled it like pros. A cohesive impressive team.

“Just a tall guy” another 27/14 night. Having the leading 3pt shooting team in the country ain’t bad either.
