Toby brought so many people from all walks of life together through his music, his patriotism, his charity, his no nonsense, his faith, his strength and his courage. I’m a 28 year old that listens to rap and rnb regularly and even this touched me. Toby brought me lots of memories as a little boy and some of my closest times I’ve had with my family involved jamming to Toby Keith with my parents. My father is now the same age as Toby as well (hell of a country singer) so it really made me really reflect on my life and focus more on the times we have with our loved ones.. this world is gonna miss Toby.

Thank you for your service, bro'. I was sent to Kuwait in '91 from Germany. I can't say it was nice! But, at least, Uncle Sam rotated us back to Germany after 3 months! I got back to the billets about 11 pm (2300 hrs for the hardcore individuals). Went down into the basement where the vending machines were. Got a Bud out of the drink machine for $1. Drank that down and got a Hell of a buzz!! Slept like a baby until first call!

And here I am, some random guy living his own life and remembering my childhood when I used to get excited when I heard a Toby Keith song come on, to now being heartbroken and distraught at the loss of a legend, I simply cant comprehend the amount of pain and sadness that comes from a dear friend or family member to Toby Keith. Mr. Judd, this song is perfect. It's hard to type through the tears. I'm 61 and absolutely loved his music. Saw him in concert many times, his shows were the best. Thank you for sharing your life, and music Toby Keith, I will never forget you. I sure hope there's guitar's in heaven. My prayers and condolences to your family.

When they say country music paints pictures, we'll it's true. That song brought back memories of loved ones I personally lost from cancer, including my father, and I cried. Toby was my musical father to me. Even though we never met, his music inspired me to be a producer.

I think you're a great singer! I'm an Oklahoma girl. The first time I ever saw Toby was at ground zero of the Oklahoma City bombing. I'm a nurse and at that time we were still hopeful we'd find survivors. Well, this big, tall guy showed up and he told them to give him a list of what they needed. They did and he went and bought what was on that list. For me, it was love at first sight, that he cared enough about our community to do that. None of the other Oklahoma talent cared enough to do anything like what that great man did. Toby Keith was a legend, a true Patriot! He was a man of faith, so I know he's in a good place. Beautiful song. I've never cried so much for someone I didn't know. He just seemed like the kind of friend husband father you'd be blessed to have. I'm 52, and I grew up with my mom's country. Which I love, but I kinda feel like you don't have a choice as a kid. I love his energy and his music. So many country stars came out in the 90s that were different from Mom's country. But it was different for me with him. I can listen to his music all day every day and never tire of it. RIP Toby Keith. My Dad's a Vietnam Vet that went twice. 🙏❤️ I love that song. My Dad was medically retired the 2nd tour. 🇺🇲🙏

It hit me like a ton of bricks, being the things we go through in life's ups and downs the people we meet the family we've known in our lives. After I heard this song repeating 8 times being I was washing dishes, about the third time I took note of the words and thoughts came flooding in. Such as watching the movie "What dreams may come" omg I've never in my life cried this much after watching this. But I connected. I'm 67 and I shed a few tears when I heard about it and she'd a few more listening to this song.

God bless you and God bless all real country music artists. We've lost a lot of the greats, but when we get to Heaven, there's gonna be a big old concert with everyone we've lost. I remember, back before my local country station went the new stuff, 8 would always enjoy to hear Toby and Joe and Alabama and John and Alan, and sometimes you. But so many of you are dying, we're losing you. The greats are dying too quick. For the firdt time in a long time, I've cried.

My older brother was a Marine ('87 to '91). Was a US Embassy guard for 3 years. I enlisted in the Army in '89. Shipped to Germany (like Dad). Got hand-picked to deploy to Desert Storm in '91, just because I was going through the process of getting a top-secret clearance. Big bro' and Dad already had that. Dad worked with nukes, back in the day. He never talks about that.

I love this song, I’m so sensitive I cry no matter about color of someone’s skin. I cried so hard when Toby song at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards. His lovely wife made me cry even more. I miss Toby already but he’ll never be forgotten, I love country music. He was truly a favorite of mine❤❤❤🙏🏾

Toby Keith became the heart of America after 9/11. He was a huge influence to me when i started playing guitar and singing at age 6 back in 2000. Rest in peace in Heaven Toby Keith. May we meet someday. ❤

Actually, back 20+ yrs ago I was living in the country in an old refurbished farm house with Toby Keith CD cranked up to the max and dancing, barefoot on hardwood floor. I felt something snap in my right knee and sure enough it was a torn meniscus. Now that I'm 75, it's getting worse, but I will always remember when, where and why it happened. I named that torn meniscus "Toby". God Bless Toby Keith and God Bless the USA!

I am a 56 yo retired LEO. I have seen so many stars in my career. Some have gone on and some are still with us. As I get closer to the finish line of my life I realize so much how great we have had it in this country. I worked directly with the Toby Keith show and stood outside his bus as a final layer of security for him and his band after the show. This was where they held an after party. As a few fans were allowed to enter the bus, I was impressed by the genuineness of Toby Keith with these fans. The respect that was shown to these people was better than any other show I had seen. I already held a great deal of appreciation for his music being patriotic and inspirational but after that show he became my favorite performer.

Same as you... 56, retired LEO, and just losing my oldest brother a few weeks ago at age 61,, my brother's and reflected on our lives and said the same thing, what great lives we have led, what a country we live in, and Toby Keith's music. A true American Patriot right to the end... 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏼

Lost my father to cancer last summer he was 64 so many passing around us all the time prayers to any who are going through the same
