Hello Violet, thank you so much for your kind words. I got this cello almost 20 years ago in Russia. I showed it to several prominent experts, but nobody can tell me who made it. Some suggested it was italian, some that it was made in Germany, others told me it is has french origins. I am not very upset about it - this is my voice I was fortunate to find.

Just watching it makes me say wow

Wooooow so 😍 😍 🤩
Great vid! As someone stated in another video of it, it's just a lot of fun to play. I have to say i like it as much as the JS Bach Suites and the Marcello and Romberg Sonatas. I just play with some slight differences in the fingerings and finish this movement with the ossia, going upwards and reaching the thumb position high D (Cuts better through the orchestra mix IMO...) Greetings! Take care and thanks for the videos

Awesome!! Have you thought about recording Concerto Nr. 5 op 76? (1st mvt) :) I think it might not be played as much but it is a very beautiful piece as well, and my young Sophie will learn it as her new contest piece for spring session! We'd love if you can do it as a request.. as your previous recordings helped very much for both of us! And you're always the best version we can find! Keep up your amazing videos!
