    That was Murata belt in the first place. GGG will get his mailed. GGG just had the belt for pics. Every winner for a belt does this. Nothing special

    For those confused by this. Once you became a world champion you keep your belt for life. So murrata was gonna get his belt back anyway but GGG DELIVERED it himself out of respect. Usually the Sanctioning body comes to the locker room and returns the title.but GGG wanted to deliver it himself..So now the WBA will now make a new belt for GGG and murrata gets to keep his original belt.

    @@mangmingchannel3232not so simple it usually takes a few weeks and yes the WBA will make a new belt for GGG and murrata gets to keep his original belt. GGG will get his new belt usually a few weeks later. So yes when you win a world title belt you leave empty handed untill your new belt is made. Make sense?

    Murrata was gonna get his belt back anyway but GGG showed respect by delivering it personally. Champion gets to keep his belt for life. And they make a new belt for the new champion.

He refused to fight Andre Ward for whatever his reason’s, refused the Charlo brothers for whatever his reason’s and fought Kell Brooke😬?! instead after trying to fight Chris Eubanks jnr🤦‍♂️...the Charlo twins were begging to fight him at that point. Oh and He also lost ‘officially’ to Canelo once and scraped a draw imo. probably a 2nd loss to Canelo if they do it again, at the v least he will definitely start as a deserved underdog. Either way for whatever the reasons GGG chose ‘Not’ to fight them he eventually did not take the matchups so point remains his overall resume sucks So he will never be labelled as ‘The’ or even ONE of the Goats 🐐 Blame that on whoever you like but his resume speaks louder than his KO ratio unfortunately

    @@PracticeMakesPaper 1st fight was a straight robbery, and the 2nd fight was a draw. The unfortunate reality is that the boxing governing bodies and judges are biased in Canelos favor. I'm a Canelo fan, but even I was screaming bullshit after the 1st fight, that he clearly lost.

    Fights in Japan always have a different vibe. The crowd is silent and respectful so you can listen almost every hard punch landing in the body,head or gloves. Thats why K1 and Pride FC Fights were so epic,it really felt like a Martial Arts Movie Tournament in Real Life.

    @@eliasdizon8488 that night version's Murata may well cause huge trouble for any of the reigning champions (except Canelo). the way I see it, though a gold medalist, he is a late bloomer in professional career. if only he had built a little more career during COVID period. even Japanese fight fans have underrated him saying he hasn't fought against the real ones. ...but he is real. still not sure if he's gonna continue or not at this point in time (13th April), maybe gonna retire I suppose though, but I agree with you that he's a legend ; I'd say he's become a legend through this fight, for sure. a memorable night for any Japanese fight fans. BTW, Murata's been admiring GGG not only as a boxer but also as a human being and he, like GGG, is known as a gentleman too among Japanese fans. Thank you anyway! from Japan😉

The second fight was closer to a draw but Canelo taking that W is alright by me. My point is that I don't see other fighters doing what he did. Giving back a belt you clearly one! Come on now.     That was very classy of Triple G to do that for Murata in his hometown I really appreciate that. I think Golovkin realizes that there were some moments that he had to dig deep to win that fight and that aside from the Canelo fight this was his hardest fight.

    @@BoxingSensei I completely understand why you feel that way BUT.....in his fight with Murata there were a few times where it looked like Golovkin was about to hit the canvas and you could see it in his eyes. Plus Murata went toe to toe with Golovkin the whole fight and was backing Golovkin up, so you can't question that. Hopefully Murata doesn't get discouraged and he keeps fighting.

    Yes Murata did had a chance and GGG knows it.. GGG is getting to age of retirement, and even when I'm a fan of BOTH GGG and Canelo.. I seriously hope he wins over Canelo, but I see it kind of hard.. GGG has more Mexican Fans than he would ever imagine. For a reason Canelo hates him...lol He is JEALOUS, because even REYNOSO acknowledged to him in the corner, that HE CANELO, was not going to K.O GOLOVKING. is on RECORD!, and that was a JAB to Canelo's pride... lol

    Yes Mike brown he was still humble even when Canelo beat him.Canelo is a great fighter no doubt about that but the first fight they had,it was obvious that GGG won that fight.

    Some will say I’m crazy, but there’s something intimate about jumping in the ring with someone. You shed blood and tears with someone for 12 rounds, you grow some love for that person. I like seeing fighters like this humble, respectful, loving because they it’s a blood sport, but a sport at the end. I’m excited to see GGG vs Canelo 3. Vamonos.
