It really is, just waiting on those door cards to total finish off the interior. yep the front wing to bumper gaps are all over the place, the left wing needs replacing and the right one needs pulling out where the bumper meets it, maybe I should find two new wings.

@@RestoDesignsnando Depends how hard and expencive it is to find good original wings. Maybe also fix the gaps on the fog lights. :) Oh the little things.

Beautiful work, it is coming together nicely! Keep the MK2 content coming, it is interesting to hear the different trims offered in different countries and different year changes.

Interesting content! I m currently restoring a 4 door MK2 GTI type 19, I got every piece to its original state. I had a problem sourcing door cards and decent seats, so I decided to restore its recaro seats and door cards and put on black leather upholstery instead of textile. Do you think that it will lose its authenticity as a classic with that leather interior ??

Bbs definitely set it off....👍the only rim for the mk2

Have you done a video on how to wire up the heated seat loom? Got the same seats and a complete mk2 heated seat loom which I would love to get working

beautiful work on the interior... if you dont mind me asking.. how much did something like that costs? here in the US... I wanted to get my OMP bucket seats redone in leather... and they wanted 700+ dollars for each!!! needless to say I bought a new set of seats for less.

Thank you friend👍🏼That is a lot 700 each, same in the UK, here in Portugal prices are a lot kinder. But yep sometimes buying a set of seats done or in better condition will workout cheaper.

Should have bought your MK2 when it was up for sale. Have you seen how much they are going for now?

I haven't had my eye on the UK market for a long while, but I will have my E30 finished hopefully later this year. Which will be going for a steal. 👍🏼

Hello,resto designs! I have a question about the ABF engine.Where i can buy the valve of crankcase gases?I've looked on ebay but can't find anything. I want to replace it because I serviced my ABF with new segments and rod bearings and I want it to work to it's full potential. Greetings!
