The set has a GOLF aesthetic. It has a NICE aesthetic. The aesthetic is PLEASING. Using "aesthetic" as a standalone in this context is like saying "the room is so car," it doesn't make sense! Not mad at ya though, i blame influences constantly using the word "aesthetic" incorrectly.

I think you would want people to give honest critique not just say compliments and not mean it so… I think these cupcakes are absolutely beautiful and decorated beautifully but, had you not mentioned golf themed, I honestly wouldn’t have guessed they were golf themed. I think the pastel is throwing me. All I know is that I love them and I’d pay to get them.

@@StillBusyBaking I think it’s the pastel grass and looking at the collective of designs, at first glance I’d probably think the golf ball was maybe a flower center. Bottom line, they’re all gorgeous. Your design skills are on point

As someone who plays golf this is a completely on point critique. These are beautiful cupcakes with very creative ideas but unless they were given to me at a golf course it would take me a moment to realise they were golf themed. The color is just a little too pastel but I do think pastel was the direction to go in for a classy vibe, more flat top ones with perhaps a water hazard, sand hazard, or a tiny flag would sell the theme a bit more. The golf ball is adorable but it does at a quick glance look like a flower since it's hard to see the texture. These are by far the best golf themed cupcakes I've seen even with the critique though!

Lil flag next to the single little sugar pearl and it would have been perfect imo

These are so unique and adorable! I kinda agree with other critiques about the theme and color scheme but if this is what the event planners asked for then it doesn’t matter what KZread thinks 😊

I like how some of them are subtle. It’s hard to describe how I feel about it, but it’s like driving up to a lake, putting your stuff out on the bank and setting up some folding chairs, sitting there, relaxing, and you dip your toes in the water and decide if you want to swim, compared to being blindfolded, bound, shoved onto a boat, and thrown into the lake. Yes it is an exaggeration, a more apt version of the analogy is “it’s like driving up to a lake, dipping in your toes, and deciding for yourself if you want to swim, rather than being forced onto a boat and thrown into the lake.” But what’s the point if you aren’t dramatic?

I don’t know what the event was but if it wasn’t a child’s birthday party, then the pastel was totally the right choice. Looks very classy and easy on the eyes. Though I’m very curious to know what kind of filling you have in there?

I have one! But this frosting was lemon flavoured and the lemon zest would clog the grass tip.

I also saw the light colored frosting as sand so the white sprinkles on those remind me of the sand on the grass nearby

I made a golf cake before. I did different tips for different layers for grass. You know how you smashed down the frosting; after you do that let it warm for a minute then add sugar to the top, and it looks like that short mowed blue grass lol. Then you could airbrush brown then add sanding sugar to the top for the sand trap, or use some brown sugar. It looks so cool when finished! Just ideas. Love these cupcakes!!!🥰

I personally prefer when bakers do my orders this way I don't usually want all themed cupcakes. They turned out very classy, could go with a grooms cake for a wedding!

I would’ve added a small red flag or pole w a hole because they just look like white balls with a fluffy design when they’re with all the others.
