For example, by taking care of pets, which are fragile, irreplaceable creatures and taking care of them, making it easier for them to grow Compassionate and warm hearted. Also, by observing changes in a pet that cannot talk on a daily basis, you can feel the effect of being gentle and sensitive to people's feelings. Both of these effects are created over a long period of time, not only by temporary contact, but also by the relaxing effect of being together. Even if you cannot live as a pet, it is a good idea to interact with the animals from time to time and support the animal channels🐈🐈🙏🙏

I cried when, at the end of the video, they celebrated Harlow’s birthday !! Knowing that she was there with Carter since his birth, guessing that she might not be that young anymore and the look she gave to the camera !! 🥺🥺🥺

We had a “nanny dog” a large black lab named Caesar. We all leaned how to walk by hanging on to him. We would grab onto his fur (I know it sounds painful but my parents said he never minded) and he would stand up, pulling us to our feet with him and walk along with us until we fell down. Then he would lay down next to us until we were ready to go again. Later, Mom would put him out in the yard with us when lots of the neighborhood kids were out because she said he had a sixth sense about who the problem kids were and he would kind of herd us away from them like a sheepdog by cutting in between us and them. One day a neighbor boy who was a bit of a bully pulled a switch from a tree and chased after me with and Caesar growled at the kid and then chased him home almost a block away and then sat outside on their front walk staring at their front door just waiting for that kid to come back out. The father came out and tried to frighten him away, the next door neighbor later said he even threw a rock at him, but Caesar never moved, just kept staring at the house. After a little while, he called my Dad, who had just gotten home, “to come and get his crazy dog” but in much more colorful language. When Dad went to get him the guy stood at his door complaining about our vicious dog and then Dad told him why Caesar had chased his kid home and was sitting on his front walk (apparently the son had left out a good part of the story when he got home). My Dad was never so proud of that dog and treated him to a cheeseburger for dinner. When Caesar died a few years later it broke my Dad’s heart (he was also a great retriever and was his hunting buddy for many years) and among the family dogs, he still ranks as #1. And Dad still loves to tell this story. ❤️

Golden retrievers are great family dogs.

Animals and babies share a language of love. They understand and love each other in the most pure of ways, something as we get older are less capable of. I truly believe the more children are raised not only with animals, but to see them as our family and our equals, the world will be a better place. Animals are wonderful teachers of kindness, compassion, and treating others with absolute love - something this world needs now more than ever.

Such an amazing feeling!

It is so interesting how the huge puppy knew how to handle the baby lightly, no roughness. So sweet. The dog taught him well. And, the parents did a good job with both human and animal babies. A lovely story.

Oh my goodness…if that wasn’t the most darling thing ever! Harlow was looking at that cake like, can I just eat the cake now…please! Harlow is just like a mom…so precious, so patient and so gentle! The son became so responsible and he was very gentle with Harlow…all this transfers over to his little sister! Beautiful!!

This, THIS is family done right!! I applaud the parents on raising a well rounded, well mannered, loving and adorable young man! Any childhood with a pet in it, where the children are taught respect and responsibility is awesome!!

Beautiful! We loved our Golden rescue even with just 2 years to share! Found him in the woods near a friend's house! He was completely traumatized by rain and storms! We don't know how long he must have been out there, but what love he gave us! I think they are the perfect dog for children!

Dogs love kids. I’ve seen the sheer joy of my neighbor’s German Shepard when the school bus brings their 6 year old home. How he runs across the front lawn wagging his tail and jumping with joy to greet the bus!

I hear you. I did that for years. I had a deal with my vet that he would charge me half price on neutering stray cats I could catch. Soon enough the local possums would join the cats for dinner, plus an occasional racoon. They all got along with each other. That was long ago and in an urban environment. There are no strays anymore thanks to coyotes. I do however have some luck finding the occasional lost dog. It has always been a rewarding and fun thing to do. Wish more folks could find a way to contribute to the cause. Thanks.

Gotta love Goldens. When my nephew was that age, he was playing with legos and their Golden swallowed one of the little men. He simply shoved his entire arm down the dog's throat and retrieved it. The dog was so gentle and didn't bat an eye.
