In this video I give you a camera's eye view of every photograph which I took on a recent golden hour portrait shoot with a bride and groom. I photographed Severina and David's wedding a few weeks before this portrait session but met up with them again to take some portrait photographs of them both, with them wearing their wedding clothes again, around an hour before sunset.
As well as seeing a complete behind the scenes view of the shoot I also tell you about my thought process behind each photograph, my lens choice and all my camera settings. I also show the RAW files of each photograph as well as the final edited versions.
The majority of the images in the shoot were taken in natural light but I also show an example of where I used off camera flash with Magmod gels at the end of the shoot.

Wow Neil ! You are my absolute favourite photographer to follow ! You have taught me so much ! I would really like to understand how you edit the photos you took at sunset to get them so dark ( like in the grass , but keep your faces and highlights so perfectly lit ) . When you show the lighting as you took the shot to how its edited is absolutely amazing ! You took a very attractive couple and made them even more incredible!
