Sydnie's audition is my all time favorite, start to finish, of any talent show. And at 81, I've seen a few. I said winner immediately. My concern was, how would she top that incredible audition. Then she did this. WOW!!! I've seen/listened to this probably 50+ times now, and I'm gobsmacked every time. This is now my all time favorite performance on any talent show---EVER! You said Magnificent, and that's a great word to describe this. In the history of BGT (17 yrs I think), no female singer had ever won. Then along came Sydnie. She also nailed "Over the Rainbow" in the Finals, but for me, "My Way" is as good as it gets. Loved your reaction, Ginger.

There’s a moment, a really fleeting moment, when she steps back from the mic just before she sings the final line. She steps back as if in shock, and catches her breath. It’s as if she’s seeing herself, and her wondrous talents, for the first time. It’s like she’s getting a tiny glimpse into the rest of her life, and she can’t fathom it. She is incredible.

For me, Sydnie’s rendition of My Way eclipses all others. And in decades to come, reactors as yet unborn will be creating new reaction videos to this performance by Sydnie that will be watched in awe by countless millions. Sydnie is simply the best - simply the Sydnie. Let’s ‘ave it, girl! A job very nicely done, Mike and Ginger. 👍

When I first saw her audition, I was like, she’s winning this. When you’ve got it, you’ve got it. I was worried when I heard she was singing this, but not after. She won the whole thing, obviously haha

Sydnie is so humble, so much talent…she can tell a story by her facial and hand gestures and her voice is incredible!

I've always loved this song. After seeing this, I love it more. I get goosebumps every time I listen or watch this recording. I never thought anyone could equal my goddess Floor Jansen of the band Nightwish, but Sydnie is very close.

True, Frank Sinatra put his mark on My Way and made it his signature song. But what so many fail to recognize is who wrote My Way and it is a story in its own way. French composer Jacques Revaux composed the music for a song Comme'd Habitude. Then , later, Paul Anka removed the French Lyrics by Giles Thibaut and Claude Franscois and penned the English lyrics which were in no way associated with the Frendh Lyrics. So, My Way became a composition by Jacques Revaux and Paul Anka. Let us now say that we have joyed for years over this composition by these men and not written by the great Sinatra.

Hello Ginger & Mike, Sydnie's performance in the final BGT was just epic she has an amazing voice & her production team were so great. But as usual with Simon Cowell there is a lot of controversy with Sydnie Christmas, BGT was supposed to be a talent show for upcoming artists, yet Sydnie Christmas has bee a professional singer for years, she was in Grease the Musical, Starlight Express, Lazarus the Musical & she sang on Cruise Ships, so when all this imformation about her stage life came out, there was a big stink up that she has cheated. I do not care to much about Sydnie's past she was just so great singing these songs the way she did.Try Lucy Thomas new cover of " Unchained Melody" it is so good , take care Barbara.

It's not like she took a break from the West End or Broadway so that she could audition for BGT. Her "job" was working front desk at a gym; folding towels and selling shakes. She's been trying to break into the West End for years. More power to her for coming on BGT. And what if she hadn't. Look what we and the world would have missed. The Best singer on any talent show Ever! (IMO). And hopefully a future SuperStar.

Do you really think Simon wants to spend his time watching rank amateurs? What's the point? The show started that way years ago but at this point that's a waste of time. Plenty of real and trained talent that has never had exposure. Do they think singing on a cruise ship is success?
